recieving packages at OKW

Hi all...prob should've asked first but too late now! just wondering if anyone has ever recieved a package at your resort while on vaca? We are heading down in 2 days and the disney store sent us a defective costume, just sent another which of corse will not get to my house intime(which they were aware before they sent it) so I just convinved them to express me another to the resort and I'm hoping that is OK!!! Not having a room number or anything it just has my name care of OKW and address. Hope there won't be a problem with the resort accepting it for me..anyone ever need to do this? Thanks!

It will probably be fine, I've unexpectedly received mail at OKW before. Usually for packages they wantyour arrival date listed on the box, in case the package gets there before you arrive.

Yes, I've received packages at various wdw hotels (OKW being one of them) without knowing our room number. Most recently, OKW and WL just kept the packages at the front and when I checked in, something in the computer system clued them that I had packages waiting. I think it will be fine. Good luck with the costumes !

The only time I had a problem was at BWV and I think it was a combination of it being Christmas week and the fact that the BW conference center has a "mail center and package room" which is obviously used when a convention or some large conference is going on. Even though the package was addressed to me c/o Front Desk at Boardwalk Villas (I know since I sent it before we left home) somehow it ended up at the Boardwalk package room and we checked in on New Years Day so there were no cast members working at the Conference Center except security. Anyway, security found the package for me.......front desk was NOT helpful at all. Other than that, everytime I've sent a box a few days before our arrival it's always been waiting for us when we get there.

We had a box shipped to our resort several trips ago, we just put the dates of our stay on the box close to the mailing address. Never had a problem, while checking, in the CM noticed a remarks on the computer system that a packaging was waiting. Worked out just fine.
