Recent Wonder cruisers - question about the fridge

OP here - we have been back from Alaska for almost a week now. We had cabin 5520 and the fridge kept our pop and water cold enough for us to enjoy. It was cooler than I remember from our Magic cruise. Not sure if we got lucky but wanted to let everyone know. We did get ice each night in our room but didn't need it for in the fridge.

We were deck 2 on the wonder in May and had the same beverage cooler in previous post.

Same for us in room 2060 in May 2015

I hope that it will be cold enough to keep insulin cold. If not we will just ask for ice and fill a large zip lock bag like we did on the Dream a few weeks ago

You can contact DCL and request a real fridge for your room. It will be placed either in the knee hole in the desk area, or (sometimes) on top of the counter/desk space.

I believe there is a small cost for that, but I'm not sure.

When I sailed on the Wonder a couple of years back with the "beverage cooler", it kept milk quite cold.

We requested a proper fridge and a sharps container. I am 99% sure there is no cost if it's for medical purposes. HTH. WDW info says to request as early as possible since the quantities are limited. Happy Cruising!

I was on the Wonder this year and last year. Both times I had a refrigerator that we used. We had a stateroom on floor 2 and 6.

Yes, a small one. From the DCL website:

Coolers (no larger than 12" x 12" x 12") are only permitted as carry-on for Guests storing medications, baby food or items related to dietary constraints.
