Hi
We loved 1900 PF in 2006 and wanted to go again. I heard they changed the menu. Does anyone know what foods are on the buffet? I don't eat meat and my DD only eats chicken, so I was wondering if they have a lot of good non meat foods. Thanks!!

We ate there in November and although I can't remember what we ate, I know it wasn't very good. I know they had chicken (which I thought was a little tough), and a seafood salad. It was one of the worst dinners we had and I wouldn't go again. Crystal Palace was much better.

The best part was the characters. One of the stepsisters was very funny.

The worst part was the food and the fact that we used a Disney gift card that had over $100 on it and the server came back and said it only had $13! After getting very upset and having to go to GF concierge desk for help, it turns out that the server swiped it twice.

I agree that the stepsisters are the best part.

We just ate there in November. The previous 2 times we had been there were pretty good. This past trip was horrible. We were seated an hour late, the tables and silverware were FILTHY. Trying to find our waitress was like looking for a needle in a haystack.

The food was not as good as we remembered from our previous trips. One of the few things we liked was the strawberry soup (sounds gross, but really good).

We also ate there in November and were not impressed by the food. The characters were absolutely wonderful though. For that reason alone, we might go back. Also, we believe in giving every restaurant a second chance in case we caught them on an off night. There were a couple of chicken dishes that were OK - probably the best of the buffet. The bouillabaise might have been good if it weren't lukewarm. The carved meats were very overdone and dry. The salads were good but how can anyone mess that up! We did enjoy the desserts. My DH's theory is that they tried to serve very different dishes than you normally see on buffets and they just couldn't do good quality. But maybe it will get better as time goes on - they hadn't been re-opened that long when we went. But for buffets, we'd definitely choose the CP or Chef Mickey's if we wanted a meal in the vicinity of the MK unless we decided that we wanted to see Lady Tremaine and the step sisters again.

I knew they'd replaced the mice and Fairy Godmother with Lady Tremaine and the step-sisters, but didn't know they'd changed the menu.

We had a lovely time there back in October 2006 and I was considering going again this May - might have to re-think that though. :sad2:

Thanks for your replies. They had a delicious mushroom ravioli in a cream sauce last time and also veggie egg rolls. Does anyone know if they still have those foods? And also, has the childrens buffet changed?
