We are fresh back. Ate at Le Cellier for the first time in a couple of years. I have always enjoyed my meals there, and the steak was good again. Couple of weird things for me I thought I would share, though. They wouldn't substitute the risotto for the fingerling potatoes at a 6:00 dinner. The excuse was they pre-order the sides, so they have just enough. Oddly enough, they let me substitute for fries. Secondly, we requested a second bread basket for the table, and it was timely brought. For the table of four, that bread basket contained exactly one piece of pretzel bread. I think I may be joining the nay sayers on this one.

ouch. sorry it was a disappointment. I always thought it was a bit overhyped, if it's any consolation, there are better steak places on site.

Yachtsman is way better!!

One piece of bread, I would have said something to the server. Things like that urk me!!

I was there tonight. The table very close next to us substituted the risotto for fingerling potatoes no problem.

We always ask for just pretzel bread. First basket was 3 pieces (for 2 of us). We asked for more (really so I can eat it in the morning) and they brought 2 more pieces.

Very strange you didn't have much luck!

Really? I found the Yachtsman steak house to be sub par both times I went.

I prefer yachtsman. My wife prefers Le Cellier. She loves the mushroom risotto and I love the garlic butter

ah I see. Maybe its just me then. I'm not a big steak person, thus not noticing any big difference between the two restaurants other than location and price.

We use to love LeCellier as well, we do not anymore. The last time we were there the hostess staff was really rude. Our waiter was wonderful but I just didn't have the same feel as in the past. I really wasn't a fan before. My husband was but we will not be returning. There are plenty of other great restaurants on property and I don't have to put up with rude hostess staff.
I am looking forward to STK Orlando coming to Disney Springs.

I still dream about that filet from Le Cellier. Highly let down at their attempt of this dish at last year's food & wine festival though.

Yachtsman is definitely on my disney dining to-do list!

Trying it for the first time this summer- I've heard so many good things.
Was this just an off night or should we pick somewhere else in Epcot?
