WHO HAS GONE RECNTLY AND DID YOU LIKE IT? WORTH THE MONEY?

WHO HAS GONE RECENTLY AND DID YOU LIKE IT?:teeth:

We were there in August 03. That was our second time and really like it. The kids enjoyed it. Our seats were on the stage level and the interaction with the cast was great.

We have attended the Hoop Dee Doo Review about 4 or 5 times over the past 12 years. It is one of the first reservations we make when we know we are going to WDW. The show is something akin to an old vaudeville musical-comedy with a western twist. It is a happy event and you will leave with a full stomach and a smile on your face. The food is good. It is all you can eat featuring salad, rolls, ribs, chicken, potatoes, corn, beverage (alcohol/nonalcohol) and very good strawberry shortcake. One little known secret that I will share with you... If you have fussy eaters (both kids and adults), or if you feel like eating something that may not be on the menu, just ask your server and he/she will do his/her best to accomodate your request, at no extra charge. We've had mac/cheese, chicken fingers, pizza, spaghetti and shrimp brought to our table at various visits. Your server is there to make you happy. If they have it in the kitchen, they will bring it to your table...just ask.

We always schedule Hoop Dee Doo Review early in our visit to Disney. We find it puts us in a nice frame of mind and gets us started on the right foot in our WDW vacation. I hope this helps and ENJOY!:wave2:

Yes, Yes, and Yes.....

worth the $$$................

We went last month (March 22) to the late show. It was a lot of fun!!:cool1:

We had a front row table (only booked a couple of months ahead) with my three sons 12,10, & 8. They ate very well, and had a blast. Our server was very attentive and we had seconds of chicken. Some of the jokes were corny and some were funny as heck.:rotfl:

I wouldn't hesitate to go again. It IS a little pricey, but worth it IMHO.

The only downfall for us was the loooong trip to get there (compared to other bus rides to other WDW locales) from the Beach Club, and I think it would have been a little more exciting if the hall was full. (The balcony was empty, and the rear of the hall was quiet as well):scratchin:

Have Fun!!!

last at the end of November (7:15 Show) and LOVED IT! I didn't tell my wife and two DD much about it and they loved it to the point they rank it up as the most fun they have had at Disney. We all thought the food was very good and it hit the spot. The show was corny but fun. In fact, we complained that our 'faces hurt' from laughing so much. When you figure in the cost of the food, drinks (wine and beer too!), tip, tax and entertainment, it is really not a bad deal at all!

Try it and enjoy!

We were there the week before Easter and loved it!!!:Pinkbounc

The show was a lot of fun and the food was good too

Thanks for all the positive responses, we have never gone to this and are always looking for something new to do, thanks again. Lori

We did the hoopdeedoo Revue over the Thanksgiving Holidays and my family really enjoyed it but I kind of thought differently. It was nice but in my opinion it was not worth the money.

I already made my PS for October 26, 2005 7:15 show. I figure it is something to do our first night in Disney.

We were there for the 7:15 show on Apr 12. Food and entertainment were great - had a table 2nd row back from the stage, in the center. The only complaint I had, and this is minimal, was it was pretty darn cold in there. It was a rainy evening and the air conditioner didn't need to be on yet it was. My son put on the only coat he had, his rain parka. So, do bring a coat or something to cover yourself with just in case. A couple at the table next to us left to go get their coats.

When I asked my husband the other day what his favorite Diseny experience was this trip, he said Hoop De Doo Review.

Hoop was my favorite memory of our last trip (WDW, followed by a 7-day Disney cruise). Can't wait to go back again this December, We have already made our PS!

A Pioneer Hall Player it is a great show and we attend each time we visit WDW.Have seen cast change over the years and all have done a wonderful job with material.::yes:: :wave2:
