Recent Bouncebacks?

The last few years I have found that the bouncebacks on our visits mirror discounts that end up being offered throughout the following year. Any recent visitors have any bounceback offers?:)

I found what was offered when we were looking to book our Dec. 2014 stay! Back in August, to be very limited for what we wanted. We weren't able to get anything at YC at all and ended up booking BWI at 25% off. We are eligible for AP and Florida Residents, but we got our discount when the general public prices were released. The subsequent offers were no better than what we already had booked.

On the last day of our stay this past Dec., I went ahead and booked a bounce back for 35% off BWI for the first week of Nov 2015. Even at that, they only offered 2 room types, either water view or standard view- club level. We really just wanted standard view again. Only thing offered at YC was garden view.

DH always says "lets wait and see", but I'm the one that spends a lot of time online looking for discounts. In the future, I will stick with the bounce backs and be done with it. Since we do room only, I don't mind putting down a deposit and it is easy enough to cancel if we decide not to go.

That's what we have always done as well. I have an idea and flexible dates/times available when we go, that way I can book the bounceback. The last time we did it, we ended up getting free dining during dates that never ended up getting released GP. I've adjusted them when we've come home even changed resorts sometimes but have always been able to keep the discount!

I think the Bounceback discounts are often pretty similar to the general public discounts (maybe an extra 5% off w/Bounceback), but the real advantage for me has always been being able to lock in our discount much further in advance. If we're there in November and want to return the same time the next year, we can go ahead and lock in our trip with a discount right then - a whole year in advance - vs waiting until the general public discounts come out only 3-4 months in advance (and at that point, the resort/room type you wanted may not be offered with the GP discount.) And I've also been able to make changes after the fact with no issues. Love the Bounceback offers!
