We did MVMCP on Dec 2nd... I didn't expect to get them so soon.

Nice surprise and they turned out really well.

OK, so where was the free picture taken? I totally missed it. I thought there were several spots, but nothing was on the map.

Also, did they not heard everyone into Tomorrowland like in previous years? When we came out of LTT at 7:03, there were a ton of people over there! I expected it to be pretty empty on that side of the park until 7:30 or so.

I too totaliy missed the picture this time. Where were they taken and was it only to a specific time? I was all over but did not see any picture stations. Just like the tjmouse I did not see any mention in the program or on the map.

We couldn't find where to get our picture taken either.

We got ours a few days ago. Haven't scanned it in yet.

They did not put the locations on the maps this year and they didn't at MNSSHP this year either. Not sure why.

So since I knew they took pictures in the past and that they took them at MNSSHP, even though the locations weren't on the map, I asked a couple of CMs. One told me they were only taking them in Tomorrowland. The other told me they were taking them in Tomorrowland and Adventureland. Only two locations this year...not 5 locations. I was pretty bummed but the two locations had many photographers set us so the lines went pretty fast.

If they discontinue the free photo (taking it off the map made me think they are thinking of doing this someday) I may not attend MVMCP anymore unless they lower the price. They already took away the free button last year...

We got ours yesterday too and were there last Tuesday night. We got ours taken in Tomarrow land at the time keeper. We asked a CM where they were taking them.. There were 3 of us so I asked for 3 pictures and got them. They are really pretty good!!!!

We were at MVMCP on Friday, the 9th. We headed to Tomorrow Land because my DH and DD wanted to ride Space Mountain and we passed by Timekeeper where they were taking the pictures. I think I noticed a sign that said something about photo exit - so we asked a cast member and he confirmed that was where the pictures were being taken. Probably wouldn't have found it otherwise. Looking forward to getting our picture, but I just viewed some of our photo pass pictures on line and I hope we look better in the MVMCP picture!!!

In Adventureland. No wait, and the photographer was very good, trying to get 7 people lined up right!

We didn't egt ours taken either. Since it wasn't on the map I thought they weren't doing it this year. We happened to stumble across it in Tomorrowland late at night after all the kids fell asleep.

We were there on Dec 1 and had a huge group shot done in TomorrowLand at Timekeeper. I got it over the week-end. It actually came out rather well considering how many people we had in it!!
As far as the closing and herding into a different area...I believe they moved most people over to Frontierland this year. We were at the Galaxy Theater meeting up for a meet before the Twas the Night Before Christmas show and were told that if we had our wristbands on, we could wait there, by the theater and not have to move over to the other area. So, I can't be sure if everyone was really herded over.
I also didn't think there were well posted signs for the photo's this year. Like others have posted, it seems that they are continually taking something away. First the cool buttons, then the shortened list of photo spots. If this is a trend, then I hope they lessen the admission prices. We are getting less and less for our money.

I was at MVMCP on Tuesday the 6th. I had it all planned *NOT* to get my photo done because I usually dislike them anyway. BUT very late at the party I was walking through Adventureland, and I stumbled on the location, with no wait at all, so I got the photo done. I got it in the mail yesterday.
( WOW - Fast service ! ) I now have even greater incentive to lose some weight. 'nuff said !
