Maybe security should be stricter for all the businesses that are allowed access on property. It seems strange to consider the registered guest on property , relaxing in their room as a security risk... and then Warn us with a random note placed by the phone .
It’s very easy for non guests to access Disney hotels, or any hotels. For example, if someone parks at the Studios, they can walk over to the Epcot resorts, or take the Skyliner to those resorts. The people with the fake flyers would just take a backpack full of flyers, go to a resort and walk down the halls putting flyers under doors until the backpack was empty. I actually saw someone doing this at BWV a few years ago as I went back to my room for a mid day rest. They took off running as soon as they realized someone else was in the hall. It would be easy enough to find a House Phone in any hotel, not just Disney, for calling rooms directly while bypassing any legitimate employees. It’s a shame that it’s on the guest to be cautious, but it’s really difficult to stop all the scammers without also harassing legitimate guests.
