Received a Bill Re Last Trip at AKV, Confused

I just go to the Front Desk the night before we check out and request a copy of our folio. Then I doublecheck that paper copy against my cc bill when it arrives. It can be a hassle during vacation to get to the Front Desk, but it saves a headache later on.
We did the same on our recent trip but we did it in the morning. Good idea to do it the night before, when the lines at the front desk are likely shorter! I like to check that the list of charges looks right before we leave WDW.

I can't recall if I've ever had a bogus charge at Disney but we've had them at other hotels. One time it was a minibar restocking charge and we never touch the minibar. Another time it was a breakfast charged to our room.

Received a response, I've blocked out sensitive info. Second paragraph is rather vauge as to "why" but at least I don't have concerns it's fraudulent.

Used the same card yesterday to book a trip thru CRO mid August. They had no problem taking the information via the website but now wondering if same thing might happen then. May just pick up a Disney GC for that trip. I'd still be able to use the CC for rewards and earn fuel perks thru local grocery store, but it's a bit of a hassle vs just using the CC to settle actual charges.

Dear Janet,

Original Message Follows:

I have left several voice messages but have not received a call back XXX-XXX-XXXX,
thusly I am resorting to email in an attempt to receive an explanation as to an unusual billing.

I am writing in response to the above invoice that I recently received
in the amount of $XXX which appears to be linked to my recent DVC
stay at the Animal Kingdom Villas.

I completed online checkin prior to my arrival and linked my credit card
that I always use for Disney travel. Accordingly, I am confused as to
why I received this invoice, which I assume
represents charges I made with my Magic Band in the parks.

I have already contacted my credit card company and they assure me there
were no issues with my card that would have prevented you from
submitting and them processing these charges. In fact, I was on an
extended trip and had set up travel advisories to avoid any sort of
incident of this type.

I use this credit card exclusively for travel purposes both to accrue
points and have a yearly accounting of my overall travel expenditures.
It is inconvenient to receive a paper billing.

Please advise:

1) "what" said charges represent. Should I assume POS means point of
sale on Disney property?

2) "if" you have an answer as to why the charges were not applied to my
credit card on file.

3) "verify" that I won't be double-billed by a subsequent charge from
you to said credit card that is still linked to my MDE account. The
company states that you have 90 days to submit any charges for payment
from the date of service/sale.

thank you
Janet XXXXX

If you ask the front desk they will email your itemized bill to you. No need to go anywhere. (which is important at SSR, AKV, etc... :) )
