Reburb from Cameta?

My DD15 wants a Nikon S60 for X-mas. Saw it on Youtube and loves it. It is discontinued and is still $249, the S70 replacement is $349. No way paying either for a camera for her- she just doesn't take very good care of them. I found a refurbed S60 on Amazon thru Cameta with 1 yr warranty for $149. Would you buy a refurb? Cameta ok? She doesn't want to S220 or S230 I found at Target for $129/$149

I've bought several items from Cameta through Ebay with no problems. I don't know much about that camera though so I can't offer any insight on that.
