Really want BLT & can't seem to get in!

I reserved our Dec 11-16 trip back in May, using the 40% off deluxe resort PIN. At that time, no rooms were available at BLT using the 40% off. I reserved at Contemporary (couldn't even get MK view, only BLT view), and was told to keep trying back as things change often. Well I've been trying off and on since then, and NOTHING! We REALLY wanted BLT, b/c the kids go to bed earlier than us adults, and it would be really nice to be able to stay up a bit longer. The suite option sounded so nice. In fact, everywhere we travel, we get a suite for this very reason. But it never seems to work out at Disney!

Does anyone have any suggestions or know of an alternative I could try? Very frustrating. You book early, and STILL can't get what you want!

I booked BLT with the 40% off code back in early September/end of August (not sure when those discounts came out, but I think it was fairly early in the game) and got literally the LAST 2BR villa available. If we had waited even a few days we wouldn't have gotten it. Nothing has come open since for our travel window for a 2BR (or even a 1BR...I keep checking so we can add days at the beginning of the second resort in our split stay!).

Thus, I can only conclude that the 40% off BLT room allotment was pretty small...or the demand was really high! Good luck OP, I really hope something opens up for you. I'm looking forward to stay there, I have my fingers crossed that it's nice and we enjoy it!

I don't know if this will help at all, because I'm not sure what is being done with cancellations going back into the pool, that being said, we decided to stick with a 2-bedroom at AKV, so I just cancelled a 1-bedroom at BLT that I had booked with Free Dining for Dec.10th-17th.

Like I said, don't know if it will help, but thought I'd throw that out there just in case. Good Luck!!
