Really looking forward to March 22!!

I know this post has no real value. No great truths about DVC. Nothing of real substance - except to say I am so excited we're heading down to WDW on the 22nd. I've been under a fair amount of stress lately about having to make a decision regarding putting my mother in an assisted living home and I can really use this trip.

We check into VWL on the 23rd for 2 nights and then 3 nights at AKV. Then we're stopping by HHI on the way home for one night (unfortunately we're not staying at the DVC resort for that night, just the Hampton Inn, but that is okay). It will be DW, DD28 and myself. We have a big surprise planned for DD. On one of our trips last year DW and myself went on one of the AK Backstage Tours and loved it. Well DD wasn't with us on that trip but she really loves animals, so we decided to book the tour again for DW and DD (I'll be spending some quality time at the Rose and Crown while they are on the tour). We don't plan on telling her until right before the tour is supposed to start. I figure we'll spend the morning at AK and then lunch at Pizzafari and then as we head out we'll stop at the front gate where the tour stops. I think she will be very happy with this tour.

Anyone else got a WDW trip coming up in the next few weeks?

I enjoy reading about other people's trip plans (before) and reports (after)! Makes me anticipate our vacation coming up in May! Sounds like you have a fun trip planned and it's great to read about your surprise for your DD.....we love trying to surprise our DSs

We will be joining you on the 23rd. We will be staying at SSR for the first time. OH so looking forward to it!!!

We'll be checking into SSR on the 22nd. This is my son's senior trip, so he is bringing along a few friends. There will be 8 teenage boys in all, plus me and DH in a grand villa. It will be interesting!
