Really hard question about park restaurants

I've asked on the Budget Board, but no one seems to know the answer. I'm trying to use my Disney Visa as much as possible at restaurants to get 5X the rewards.

If I use my Disney Visa at a restaurant inside a park, will it show up as payment to a restaurant or theme park? Anyone know?

I have no idea. If I were looking for the information, I would call Disney Visa directly. If they don't have the answer, I would call one of the park restaurants directly to find out.

We were at the Biergarten last week and paid with our Visa. It showed as a charge to the restaurant on our statement.

Thing is, we're going tomorrow morning. I may ask a cashier or two while I'm there, but I doubt they'd know. I really even doubt a Chase customer service rep will know.

Well, I told you it's a toughie! We're only going for three days and staying off-property, so maybe I'll split it: half Visa, half cash.

We use our Disney Visa for paractically everything at the park. The restaurant charge will, indeed, show the name of the restaurant - not just a generic "Disney".

I had that promotion in May and yes, all my TS charges came in as estaurants

Thanks again, all. I appreciate the help so much. My husband and I never used rewards until recently. I've read other posts in which people say the Disney Rewards are not the best. Well, we love them. We used our first card at the F&W Festival and it was great!
