I need some help with really good shows to see whille in Disney. Most shows I haven't seen -so include them all!

What about Lion King, Beauty and the Beast...

Help? Are they worth it?

I would definitely see both Lion King and Beauty and the Beast. My DD LOVES Belle, so Beauty and the Beast is a given for us. The Festival of the Lion King is WONDERFUL!! I don't think any show at Disney is as good as this one. Definitely a NOT TO MISS!!

If you consider PhilharMagic a show, it is a don't miss! American Adventure is a very good show, just don't go in right after eating, or you'll find yourself dozing off!

Festival of the Lion King is a must see
All the 3D shows are excellent (Philharmagic, It's Tough to Be a Bug, Honey I Shrunk the Audience, Muppet Vision 3D)
Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular, especially for the guys
Carousel of Progress
The Tiki Room-Under New Management (it's a lot different and IMHO a lot better)
Country Bear Jamboree can be good, especially for younger kids

You absolutely CANNOT miss the nighttime show Fantasmic! Plan on getting there at least an hour early-well worth it!

Have fun!!

I agree with the other posters. Beauty and the Beast is great. Fantasmic is a definite must, I finally saw it this trip and it was definitely worth the crowds. We all LOVED it! I also loved Cinderella's Suprise Celebration in front of the Castle. The girls loved it too and it heped warm my 16mo old to the characters the whole rest of the trip. I guess seeing them singing and dancing made them not so scary. Festival of the Lion KIng was also another great show.

The Little Mermaid Show at MGM is one of our favorites (along with our #1 fav Beauty and the Beast)

*edited to add Philharmagic - how could I have forgotten it? It's the most awesome 3D show ever!

The Little Mermaid at MGM, Fantasmic at MGM, Lion King at Animal Kingdom.................if you have little, little kids, Pocahontas is very cute. My guys did like Indiana Jones, too.........and they love Honey I Shrunk and It's Tough to BE a Bug........though I can live without them.

We haven't yet seen Mickey's Philharmagic or Beauty and the Beast.

All of the shows are wonderful. The Tiki Birds, The Hall of Presidents, The American Adventure, Festival of the Lion King, etc....but whatever you do, DO NO GO SEE THE TARZAN SHOW! This show is hot, loud and just obnoxious. Stick to more worthwhile things while at the AK.

Lion King was my favorite!! I would wait much longer than we did to see it.
I have not seen Beauty and the beast so I can't comment onthat one. I have heard many different reports on Tarzan Rocks. ( but havn't seen that either)
I really like the little Mermaid show in MGM
I also like Indiana Jones in MGM

Over all Lion King is my favorite!!! Not to be missed IMHO.

All of the fireworks and Parades in all the parks were also great!!!!

Some of our favorite shows are the sidewalk ones in Epcot's World Showcase. Pick up a schedule at the front of the park and try to catch some of them. Our favorites are Off Kilter in Canada, American Vybe and Voices of Liberty in America, Imaginum in Italy and A Chair Act and Le Mime Roland in France.

Poor Tarzan Rocks! Everyone is always bashing it! LOL! This is one of our favorites, but we have a special bond with the music in the show, so our family loves to see it!

And I don't mean to upset everyone by bringing up something from the past, but . . . Oh how I miss the Hunchback of Notre Dame show in MGM!!! It was THE best show (musical theatre as opposed to fireworks) in WDW. Why they discontinued it is something I still can understand.

Try all the shows. Everything in WDW is worth going to at least once!

I totally agree with this last post. The best show in WDW has gone: The Hunchback of Notredame. Nowadays, I am positive that the best show is TARZAN ROCKS at AK. Also, there are others really good: Festival of Lion King (AK), American Vybe and Voices of Liberty (Epcot), 4 for a Dollar (Beauty and the Beast´s Pre-Show at MGM).

I've seen all the 3D shows and they are on my list of things to do.
I've seen Flights of Wonder at AK twice and I still like that show.

FOTLK is now on my list of things to do, but Tarzan is still up in the air.

I've seen Fantasmic! and I can't say that I want to do it again. Not without kids anyway.

I haven't seen Indiana Jones in forever! I thnk I should see that one again.

I don't usually sit and watch the parades, but I think I am going to change that this year.

I also love the Little Mermaid show, especially the beginning.

I've never done the hall of Presidents, but I have done the American Adventure, and it's easy to snooze through  , I don't know why.

Thanks for the help!

TarZan Rocks, ROCKS!! I think is it one of the best shows at Disney. (Haven't seen Fantasmic yet will in Dec.) It is loud, vibrant, fun and the music is great! Definately on the top of our list as "must sees," and may be on our "lets do it twice."

I like all the shows except Tarzan Rocks. I couldn't wait to get out of there.

As these posts point out, show preferences vary according to your taste. I love Tarzan Rocks because the music is some of my favorite. I'm not wild about the action, but love the music. It's hard to advise anyone on what to see because we have no idea what they may like. Best advice is try everything you can once, and don't go again if you don't like it. Have a great trip.

What is it about Tarzan Rocks that seems to divide people into love it or hate it? Without a huge spoiler - what's it about? What's the general premise?

I love Tarzan Rocks - Cute , muscular guy in a loincloth - what's not to Love? ;)

Festival of the LIon King is an awesome show. I'd highly recommend it and Tarzan Rocks at the Animal Kingdom. My kids and I loved Cinderella's Surprise Celebration at the Magic Kingdom (outside) and the 3-D movie Mickey's Philharmagic is top-notch (Fantasyland). Epcot has a lot of nice shows in the World Showcase. Beauty and the Beast at MGM is a nice show too, but if it's raining that show is sometimes cancelled. Fantasmic is a nice show as well, one that includes fireworks and should not be missed.
