I have a 7am breakfast reservation for CM at the CR. I am staying at the Poly and was planning to take the monorail. Just realized that it might not be running. What time does the monorail start operating? It would be a shame to get a taxi for such a close resort

Any insight from someone who has done this (or similar) would be appreciated...

But I did call the disney info number and they said the monorail starts running at 7am. When I asked about the ADR, the CM left to ask someone and came back and said that they would hold the reservation for us.

kirbydog48- I'm glad that I'm not the only person that thought an insane early breakfast was a good idea :)

We did this last year when we stayed at the Poly. We took a cab, because the monorail doesn't start running until 7, and it would need to get all the way around to the Contemporary.

As a side note, we liked having the early time. Our girls are early risers anyway, so it was no big deal to be ready that early. Once we were finished (about 8:00) we walked over the the MK. We were able to take the walk at a slow pace and enjoy it, then still be at the MK in plenty of time to see the opening show.

Thanks for the input. Sounds like the taxi is a good option. Of course I want my morning to be as stress free as possible, and i know being late would make me a little uneasy.

BTW How was the dinging experience at that time in the morning? I can't imagine that its too busy although with the popularity of this location, who knows.
