I'm drooling over the fantasy of taking the whole family to WDW within the next couple of years. We're in Los Angeles, so just the plane tix will be painful.

It's me, DH, our 6yo DD and 4yo DS. I realllllllly want to go. I'm willing to save up for it, but how much $$$$$ will I need. I'm pretty frugal, but I am clueless. Can anyone help, please? TIA!:littleangel:

I am planning a trip for January, and our budget is $100 per person for day, all inclusive.

I have found airfare RT from LA for $260 at various times of the year. Avoid holidays and you can get some good deals. If you rent a townhouse/house, you can get one for $100/nt. We are renting a 5 br/4.5 ba for $130/nt. Rental car can get expensive, but good deals can be found. We got a mini van for $35/day including taxes.

In my mind, the budget busters are eating in the park (character meals, especially) and souveneirs. If these things are not that important to you, you can save alot of money. We are bringing light sticks from the dollar store, Disney t shirts purchased on clearance, and our own snacks to cut down on some of the impulse shopping. I hope it works!
