Where are the best little known places to watch the parade?

Which parade are you asking about? Many like Adventureland area for the daytime parade as it starts there. If you arrive early you can get spots in the shade on the side of the street where Pecos Bills is.

to me the 'perfect' location for this parade is looking straight down Main Street towards the castle. Above the train station is normally reserved for VIP but close to the flagpole is great but that spot will be taken very early.

The nighttime parade marches in the opposite direction from park entrance and ends in Adventureland. Not sure of any preferred spots but just a heads up that you do not need to be in the front row to enjoy this parade.

Asking parade viewers for their secret spot is like asking campers for their favorite campsite. We just smile and say there’s lots of good ones.

If you don’t mind direct sunlight, outside of the Emporium close to the barbershop doesn’t fill up fast and the parade comes right at you.

Typically you’ll find cm not working arrive at the spot after the parade passes where they watch their friends in Frontierland.
