Tomorrow I leave for a 9 night WDW stay, first with friends, then with DH & family. ADRs with friends are:

The Wave..then we will see fireworks from Top of the World
Kouzzina's then going to see The Village People
Mama Melrose for Fantasmic seating (am looking forward to eating at The Brown Derby with you all!)
Be Our Guest.. Just for my friends to experience it. I think the atmosphere beats the food, JMO! I have eaten here twice, each time, the friend who had the chicken was the most satisfied, so I intend to go with that.

That's it. The 5th night we may go to Picabu in the Dolphin. There's a DVC discount & it's cafeteria style, for something different.

Our trans Atlantic cruise is very soon!

Weather is spotty, rain at times.one of us got super wet, the rest of us were luckier, inside when it really was pouring. Kouzzina's food and Village People were great!

Nancy & I were talking, and we really do enjoy the concerts, and she and I really do want to see Air Supply, so I am going to beg out of the Raglan Road meal, she & I will eat at Kouzzina's and do the concert. If I had known about the concert before I would have skipped RR from the start.

Today it is my turn with the scooter, and it does make a huge difference! My friend & I are sharing...the next time, we will each get one! Definitely a better way to get around when walking is difficult!

Have a great time in WDW. I was going to go up this past weekend but life didn't work out. Going to try this weekend. I want to see this years Flower and Garden. Might grab a few more late night empty park pics too

You should get two. I have a bum foot (tendonitis) and can't walk much farther than one mile before I become crippled. I've been using Fran's "hand me down" scooters since 2007". People think I'm healthy and they can't "see" my problem, but boy can I feel it! Walking back and forth from Stem to Stern on the Magic is killing me! I'm covered in Lidoderm patches and Valtoren Gel as well as regular doses of Ibruprofen. I'm not going for the Norco or Morphine, that Fran needs.

Don't put yourself in pain, get one for each of you. Hopefully the young folks will realize that if they don't take care of themselves (and even if they do) they may end up without the ability to walk around. So many people think that riding a scooter is "fun" and I can understand that, but when you have the thoughts that, "I can't go on such and such ride because I couldn't walk that far." It isn't fun to ride a scooter.

I would have never made it through Disneyland Resort with PIO last year for the day if I didn't have the scooter!

I've asked Nancy to join this discussion, and once we get some time together, she will. She is not a Disboard member, so I'll be taking her through the steps. What has prompted this was seeing the barbecue area at BWV where we are now. I mentioned our cookout at the BCV, she was thrilled, wants to know what to contribute. I mentioned the cut of beef you were bringing, she's a foodie and wants to get on board.

Franandaj, yes, Tina & I will definitely each need a scooter...sorry the Magic is so hard for you to navigate. I hope you are enjoying the ports and fun of being on a Disney Cruise!

Dinner tonight was at Be Our Guest. 3 of us had Cornish Hen, other puff pastry seafood filled...everyone was happy!

I am very much enjoying this time with friends!

I love having a scooter! My cousin and I share it. It carries our stuff. We always have a place to sit. No more blisters on my feet and being in intense pain by the end of the first day! My new motto is "It's a vacation! Not a Death March!"
