DH will be happy with fish or something vegetarian. I was thinking we could get some of those large mushrooms if we were doing a BBQ; grill them and lay the gill-side with pesto and feta cheese. That's really quite simple and nice.
The pontoon holds up to 10 people. So, if you want to offer spots to that other Disser, we could do a max of 4 more.
I was thinking about Portabello mushrooms, but if I ordered them in my grocery order, they would be icky by Saturday.

Those would be something that would need to be picked up that day or the day before. I was also thinking I've seen you cook shrimp fried rice, but again, those would need to be picked up that day or the day before.
I was wondering, have you given a thought to soy sauce? We got Chinese delivery last night and they always give us the little packets. Do you want me to save all our little packets throughout the year and bring them along? I keep some in my "spice kit" along with cornstarch, and all my common spices.
With what we've talked about today, my schedule is starting to look like this:
9/29 Sun - arrive, cook dinner in room, crash
9/30 Mon - possibly breakfast at 1900 Park Fare, maybe MK, Dinner at Cali Grill
10/1 Tues - still wide open
10/2 Wed - check out VWL, hit Epcot kiosks for lunch, check in BCV, HBD/Fantasmic
10/3 Thurs - Kiosks at Epcot, probably grazing most of the day, Wishes Cruise, late nite snack in room
10/4 Fri - Kiosks in Epcot until it starts to get mobbed, Raglan Road? or cookout
10/5 Sat - maybe EMH at DHS, hopefully Grand Mariner tasting 2:30-4PM, cookout or Raglan Road (but DTD on a Saturday night is a mess!)
10/6 Sun - Totally wide open
10/7 Mon - Leave at 9AM on DME (unless American switches our flights around yet again).
That makes me think that Tuesday night, I might want to plan on cooking dinner in the room, since it's in between two signature dinners. I'll possibly make something that morphs the leftovers from Sunday into a new dish.
It also makes me think that I might want to book an ADR for Sunday since Epcot will still be bustling with the weekend F&W traffic, but not as much as Friday and Saturday nights. Perhaps Le Cellier, Kouzzina or Chefs de France, since we will have just had Fish & Chips either Friday or Saturday.
As far as inviting this other DISer, she doesn't get in until the 4th. Also I don't know her that well. I thought that she was older (like us) and it turns out she is a young thing, won't even make the Fogies thread! She just has a very mature palette and writing style.
