hi everyone! I think I'm ready book, but a bit nervous and need some 'words of encouragement'. my DD, 22, and I will be traveling together. our first disney trip alone with her since she was 5. we've been to WDW as a family about 10 times since then, but never during this particular time period. I've been in May, October, and November and early December. With her being a college student, time is much more of a factor than when was in regular school (I thought nothing of taking her out of school to go).
anyway, we can only go in between semesters, so it looks like we will go 12/29/14 to 1/10/15. I'm a bit nervous about crowd levels and the weather. can anyone give me any information on these two items? also, can anyone help with deals on rates and specials during this time. we plan on some non-park activities, such as mini-golf, but would like to do other things, like archery and horseback riding. is there a 'dress-up' tea that we can do? I really want to do the richard petty ride-a-long. has anyone done this? is it worth it?
I know these seem like a whole bunch of questions from someone who has been there many times, but we focused much more on the parks. now we want to experience "The World"! thanks in advance!
