Reading Thread/Goals for 2026

Hello fellow readers!

I thought I would start the annual thread to discuss what we read in 2026. I always get many good book recommendations from these threads! Feel free to post your goal for total number of books you would like to read as well.

I had a goal of 32 books for 2025, and wound up being one book shy of my goal. For 2026, I am going to set my goal as 32 books again.

Thank you for doing this again. I also get ideas about what to read through this thread. I made my goal of 70 last year, and I think I can do it again.

Like you I was one shy of my goal-my goal was 56, I read 55. But unlike you, I'm making my 2026 goal the same as my actual from last year. So for 2026, my goal is 55 books.
