Nab, I'm here, I think?

Had some soup for dinner and was going to do the dishes, but decided to just close my eyes for a few minutes. I think that was 90 minutes ago, LOL.

Hubby did the carpets today, and moved the tree, so now only the top part of the tree lights are working!!! This is a prelit tree, so I dont know if you have to try each little bulb or what with it. Going to have to wait till tomorrow, though.

The dog went to the groomers today, and got his fur trimmed really short. He now looks like a zebra sporting a new bandana...... too funny.

Pumba, you are very sweet lady, nobody hates you!!!

Why in the blazes are they cutting off the Dis on a weekend???

I am taking tomorrow off to do clean the party dishes and wash the linens and do last minute grocery shopping and whatever else... oh JOY!!

Marita your husband moved the tree! With all the stuff on it. I wouldn't even think of attempting that. Probably cheat and go around it

Well I for one will be gone on the weekend so to me it is a good thing Not that it isn't hard to catch up these days.

If you had a nap you will be up all night now won't you? Either that or you really need some rest. Your partying to much....

Yes, I will probably be up late, hopefully doing productive things....
That way I can sleep in a bit and let DH read his paper in peace.

And no, I have not been partying too much, only went to one party this year.

Nab, not only did he move the tree, he put it back a different way, so what was the back is now the front!
But that is easy enough to fix, I am more concerned about the lights.

I guess a Christmas tree isn't that great looking only lite from the top. Maybe it is a loose connection in the middle. I will send you pixie dust maybe it is an easy fix.

Well I better head off to bed. One more day of school. Hannah has been pretty good today so cross your fingers it stays that way. I still have to go bag the teachers gifts and the bus drivers. Plus make lunches and get the cookies ready to go. I just made myself tired.

Marita, I agree about how carpy it is that they're changing over the DIS on a weekend. But maybe it will run a little more smoothly and faster once they do.

Just thought I would tell everyone Merry Christmas. I just read that the boards will be down (after seeing UM's post.)

What that means is this is probably my last post until next week sometime. Cause this will be a busy weekend! Hope everyone has a super holyday!

LIL GRumpy- I recently re-read your Trip Report. I had been a late arriver and missed alot of it. It's really good, Mister! I really like your pictures. They make me just adore you and the love you have for your family. I totally remember your little red-headed Princess. Geeez, she's a cutie!

Moo- OH Gosh-9 more days! I'm so happy for you! What a pretty time of year to go to WDW! I am more than a wee-bit jealous, sister! Hope you have a wonderful time. Ride Jungle Cruise for me and laugh like it's your first time.

Pumba- You know I like traditional ham better than Honey Baked too. I have a large slow cooker that makes a simple ham into a mouth watering piece of heaven. You are so cute! I love this sappy time of year. It's my first year with my DIS friends. My DS17 calls y'all my "imaginary friends". You are all just like family only with less DISfunction.

I will definitely be thinking about all of my DIS friends while I am in Florida and wishing you could be there too!

Three of my friends are relative WDW newbies, so I'm sure we will be doing many of the classic attractions.

Uma, I don't think I've EVER missed doing the Jungle Cruise!!!

I have been CRAZY busy since my return from the most fantastic trip. I should have done more before I left

Now I log on and find that the boards are going down

Next week I hope to get up the beginnings of the trip report and to catch up on all the doings going on around here. I have missed you all the last couple of weeks, but it seems I am not the only one that was busy this week. Thankfully, Nab continued to turn the page.

By the time the boards come up I will be knee deep in family.

You should have seen my kids get on the school bus this morning. I should have drove them but I wanted the bus driver to get her gift. Poor Hannah couldn't even carry everything Nicholas had to carry two tupperware dishes with 100 chocolate chip cookies. Enough for the classes to have two cookies and extra for the teachers. Then the teachers gifts, christmas cards with candy bags. I am surprised they could walk

But they both had big smiles on the faces when they waved by this morning so it was all worth the extra work for me.

Lights are fixed, I dont know how. Nor do I really care how, LOL.
No, I'm not working today, well, not at work anyway. Cleaning party dishes and doing laundry , but pretty much at a snails pace. I stayed up till 3am and got up at 8am. so I think I'll go take a nap in a little while here.

Hopefully make it back before the boards go down at 5

Boy you are a night owl, but you did have that 90 minute nap last night.

I am doing the same thing. My house is almost clean. Only my bedroom and one bathroom to go. Waiting on bedding in the dryer. We were going to go tomorrow morning but I am head so maybe we well get out of here tonight.

I can't wait to go home. Haven't seen my Mom since the begininng of Oct for our Thanksgiving. I really miss her. The kids can't wait either. The energy is running high in our household today.
