Nab, the mall here wasn't too awful tonight! I parked pretty close to the door of two stores. In and out - my kind of shopping. I had to pick up gifts for a couple people I forgot Only had to wait a bit in one store. Glad to hear the bakery is CLOSED!!!!! Sory about your boo boo.

Glad your project is done, Minnie - get a lot of relaxation in that week you have no school or work!

morning everyone.........it is a so so day here in the North......megara tried to steal my breakfast and coffee.....I told her her days of stealing is OVER with....bad girl. WE got her a big stuffie in Disney. That blue thing with the claws......Stitch ........she goes and fleas him when she gets a hold of him.....it is the funniest thing to see.....she nuzzles him up and down like she is flea-ing ......hubby and i were hysterical watching her do it last night....
you know what is hard to get used to when you have been in Disney......ME doing the cooking and making the bed.......although hubby said for me to leave the bed for the housekeepers........you would not know that two people were in that room except for our luggage over in the corner.....OH WELL..
I did make our bed already and had an egg and cheese and sausage english muffin.......I make them good and I do love those...

Haley-- Did you son make it home on Tuesday? This must make it Christmas now that you have your family together.

Pumba-- That was pretty funny about your puppy and sad wouldn't want to her in a few days. How nice you bring your puppy something back. Glad it is Stitch. We have a stuff Stitch here too but he is not my favourite. So now you have to get ready for Christmas or were you ready before you left.

Martia-- I wish they would give me gas and let me daydream. It is just a cleaning this time I hope. They better not find anything either.

Where's Bonnie/TootsWeet? BYU is playing in Sin City Nevada today and they had to put in more bleechers to accomidate the hoards of Cougars fans. They sold out the extra seating in 5 minutes! The team went to see the "Blue Man Group" (BYU's colors are blue and white) so the local news did a big story on that....der! They were scrounging for a story I guess.

I picked up the latest "GIFT" and the stick was not there......hahahaha.....One of my rug rats, that I care for brought me a gift and his mom calls on the phone for me to open it.......so I open it and they got me a Vera Bradley handbag....it is the pink one and it is beautiful. I was thrilled and she knows it.......made me cry on the phone. Rug rat was smiling a mile wide at his REE crying over a pocketbook.....

Woo Hoo - My daughter is home!!! Good thing I decided to take the day off work because she got home earlier than expected. It gave me a chance to wrap some of her gifts and stash the rest!

Hope everyone has a nice evening. We will probably go out to dinner, finish up Christmas shopping, and buy some groceries.

No cavities.... I think I even surprised the dentist this time. She didn't pic hard either this time. Sometimes I leave there and my mouth is sore.

I got tricked into going to Future Shop again today.....hubby went to the dentist too and he said since we were out he was taking me too. He was buy camera memory at a very good price so I guess I shouldn't complain but that store is sooooooooo boring to me.

Well, UMA, I think the tidal wave of Vikings isn't even a dripping faucet this time of year, LOL.

At least that will force me to concentrate on getting things ready for my big dinner party on Sunday ....

Now that baking is done now I have cleaning to do. I just got finish cleaning my kitchen, counters and all. Don't know how long that will last. I am now waiting for the floor to dry. That might take hours I think.

I deserve a break I think.

Good Lordy UM.....its not even a full moon and you want to raise the roof.....gotcha......dan will be nice to us I think?
Went to do some groceries for the week....I mean we were out of some important stuff like bread and milk and english muffins and had to get the turkey and spiral ham......good lordy I wanted a regular ham that you shove in a pot with water and boil the heck out of it......but nooooooooo...hubby who likes to pick out the meats said had to have one of those spirals ......I do not like them like a good old fashion ham..got enough to feed the troops as usual..
went to the home and they want to move mil to the first floor so she wont have to walk as far to go to the dining room and the activity room......it is a good idea I guess......but hate to admit she is failing......if she is confined to the wheelchair then she will have to move to a nursing home facility......this is a woman only assisted living center that she is in...only thirty ladies .....and what a place it is.....We have become close to the ladies and the attendants..med staff and the nurses.....we will be upset for her as well.....
I guess this is the circle of life.....sad but true.....

Pumba-- How does one cook a spiral ham I put my ham in the oven with gingerale and pineapple on top. That is the only way I know how to cook a ham. You take great care of your Mothers Pumba, your a great daughter.

I go away on Saturday and come home every late Christmas eve from my Mom's two hours away. She always hosts a party that night. We get home like 3:00 in the morning most times. Then we have to play Santa. We are getting to bed and the kids are getting up I want my kids to be in there own bed when Santa comes. When they are older we won't come back probably.

Then Christmas Day is spent un doing twist ties all day long. With me making Christmas dinner. Then Boxing day is going to the inlaws for another Christmas. No shopping for me.

a spiral ham I guess should be enclosed so that the juices stay put......but I like to put a ham shoulder or whatever they are called in a big huge pot of boiling water and let it cook for four or so hours......I mean this is the best.....I usually dump a little water out so that the salt is out of it...YUMMY.....

Okey I am getting sort of emotional.....so I will just throw it out .....I want to tell you that I have enjoyed talking and chatting and being with you all on this thread.......I so wanted you to know that I try so hard to keep peace here in the home and also on the boards....I am sort of the peacemaker.......You have been kind to me and have chatted with me like I am not a bad person......I really appreciate all you have done for the Dis and also for me....the last six months have been sort of a hell for my family and I guess with a mom that is 92 and a mother in law that is 90......we will be going thru some more chaos some day.....THANKS TO YOU ALL
