I have to read your words of wisdom Lil G. When I have had another cup of coffee in my system. You have such wonderful things to say and I love reading them (when I have had enough coffee) Life is really to short to hold grudges and have your heart full of hate.....I have this thing in me that wants to forgive all...and I usually do. I have one person in my life that stopped talking to me on the day that my granddaughter was born. That was the last day I talked to her. For some reason she thought I snubbed her when her step dad passed away (although all she ever did was complain about him)......If I had seen the obit I would of gone to the funeral ...but I was out of town with my son and wife and two kids....then came home and packed for our April-May trip....left in two days and stayed there for eleven days. She never answered my calls....so 8 months later......she still wont respond......life is to short my friends.....I forgive her for being that way.......and I will get over it.......hope she can too....have a good day my friends...

Afternoon all,

I am bored, Hubby is at Future Shop and I happened upon this lap top. We are still having desk top trouble so he is checking out Apple computers.

Hannah was home this morning, took her to the doctor. Everything is fine and he just tells me she may be getting a cold now. You get paid to tell me what I already know. She was hot this morning and said she felt sick, this afternoon she is fine. Wanted to go to school to make gingerbread houses. To late though they made them this morning so I will make a small one with graham wafers at home.

Better go sale person wants to help me ......bye.

mommy that them....

i can't put my finger on it, but the format that it requires,
is diffcult for me to "mastered'... how much wrong messages
i have typed on this site...sure glad you all are so understanding..


pumba dear,,,i selected "dear" long before you ever wrote anything
here..as i mentioned..my favorite things is reading other's trip reports.
good and bad...& because of that...it is ver elf evident how nice and
caring you are in trying to help others..[not ever, u written a single
discouraging word...]though not always well received [your friend],
an act of kindness is never wasted and eventually rewarded..in one
way or another..see? it truly pays to do thinhs right and to treat
others with respect...

so others are not confused.. iam not exactly the things i give insights on
{ ha!, i wish i was so good.}
but the direction, iam trying to head toward...my "work", places me
in these areas of human drama...so i am getting alot of practice, every day..
i work with a great group of nurses that are very strong and have the
right stuff...i hinted a lil on what society values..rich and famous,sports;
and like going to the moon..big deal?!...where its really at? is living day
by day, with the idea of caring/helping those around you to find their
own lil happpiness..now if you see what we "see"..this would immedialy
affect you...that's and being truthful..to oneself ,i think is one of
the best way to give your life meanings...

one of the things we "see" people having mental issues are those
not willing to recognized reality for what it is..they prefer "make believe"
so they can avoid what they need for what they desire..

i probably shouldn't reveal this butty...i respond most vivid..when i see
my wife's ways of doing things in your interactions...

"life is a miracle"...i get so sick of those cowards...using the name of
god"...to defend their hatred and killin..it dosen't matter...bin ,bib or
whatever he goes by...and the rest...killing is against the real GOD.
my message to them ....just remember...those little devils in ghost?
that' will be their destiny to come.

i really think we lost alot from our schools..when they removed the
"old dick and jane" readers..sometimes being smart technically
and neglecting "self care" needs..is plain stupid!..even in a thousand years,
children will still required family values and structure communites to
meet their growth and develpomental needs.. while individually, if we
really want to make the earth a lil better...i think the best thing is to
work on being a better person....

this isn't because i am so smart..instead it's waht we see all the time...
me?..it is self ewvident..i'm a work in progress..

hey, nabby..my wife got all dolly up and the kids...for christmas pics,
with their faorite pets..ha! did she ever take a great pic..she could

Lil'G-- Thanks for saying I am a good mother but like others I don't think I am. I always wish I could do more for them or should have done this instead of that. But their is nothing better then hearing your kids say they love you at these time. I bet your Christmas picture look great. I do this every year.

UMA-- I hope hubby buys you a nice Christmas present with that money. Hope he adds to it though. That took a long time to get to you, I didn't know Utah was so far away.

I ended up and finished the darn thing myself. Tons of fun was had by one and all (the all being me )

Oh well its done and my grade won't take a hit which is the main thing. 2 weeks of no school

Then 6 more months and the whole things is over

The bakery is closed for the season

I did cut my finger on the darn evapourated milk can though. So good thing I am done. My son, he ran upstairs to get the bandaids and polysporin. He was all worried I would have to go get stitches. Which I didn't but he sat down with me and kept asking me if I was okay. It was really cute. At least I know he won't freeze at the sight of blood.

Minnie-- Glad you got your project done, better yet you are on holidays now

Of all things I get to go to the dentist for our 9 month cleaning tomorrow. Merry Christmas to me...not. I do not like the dentist. I have my mom's genes on the teeth, she has had false teeth since the age of 18.She said her teeth broke off easily. I am not sure I have any teeth that dont' have a filling in them. Hubby on the other hand has never had a cavity. Not fair.

My temporary housekeeper (aka DD) , skipped out on the job for the second day in a row. She and her best friend and my son went to DIsney today. Waited in line for Soarin' for 80 minutes!!!!!!!! They got fastpasses to mission space, which had a standby line of 30 minutes and got in in 5, and did the new Nemo ride at Epcot (underwhelming). Obviously they are NOT DIS'ers, I tried to tell them......... That's all they did today, besides lunch and dinner offsite.

DH bought a 25# turkey again!!!!!!! On top of the no doubt huge honey baked ham he is picking up tomorrow! Anyone want leftovers? The thought of having less than a 25# turkey just leaves him in a panic, I guess.......... I am not saying anything, not worth arguing about.

My german pastry chef buddy (of sorts) brought me a 2 lb loaf of german Christmas stollen today (like fruitcake but better? not sure) Very yummy. They sell it at the Boardwalk Bakery. he is on the food network holiday special, too.

DH got a bunch of groceries today too, now I have to match up the grocery list with what he already got.

Guess fun is having had by all

someone I shared the recipe with on the candy cane fudge said it was AWESOME......my sister had a taste of it and could not believe how good it was......so UM .....my thanks go out to you......Hopefully they will share me a piece too.....
hubby was on the phone for over two hours with US AIR cause they tried to change our april flights ......coming home ALMOST three hours later then we wanted to. The whole thing is to be able to pick up Megara on the way home.....Dont they understand ......Delta this past trip was more accomodating and changed our flights to good ones......SO US AIR had better be good and not change any more.....

Oh yah ...today grandkids came with my dil ......and Owen left the table and his ice cream bar ........and MEGARA scoffed it down stick and all.......I freaked out and will have to watch her poops for the next two or so days......Our other dalmatian did this to a popsicle stick .....and when it came out it was a poopsicle........hahaha........

Marita, I quoted your whole thing as I am too lazy to cut out just the German chef part which reminded me of my mom's side of the family is very German and they'd make apricot kuchen ("Kugen") which was kind of custardy and delicious. And Lebkuechen (sp???) which is sort of like a gingerbread cookie but chocolatey and I swear they had rum too That side of the family still has a German accent and freak out that I took French in school and not "Allemond". Never been to Germany, unless you count World Showcase! I love my mom's side of the family. Funny people! Very steriotypical German.
