Do YOU have a happy place ZZUB?

Sometimes, on these boards, you read th strangest things.
If something is wrong, just blame the foreigners, or the catholics or...
"Unfortunately", I'm both
Yeah, the religion thing is also something that "gets" me. "Everyone" speaks about the catholics as if we are the most narrow-minded etc people. I watched some Sex and the Cuty episodes yesterday, and in one of them, Miranda also goes on and on and on about some catholic lover she had. (I know it's fiction, but it shows somehow how people think)
I'm Catholic, because at some point in my life (2 months after I was born), my parents decided to have me baptized (is that how you say it?) It's not because of that that i'm narrowminded. I'm not against any form of birth control, i'm not against gay or gay weddings or adoption by gays, I'm not against abortion, etc etc etc. Heck, I collect rich lovers!
Argh, I spend too much time on these boards... I need a life... or a vacation...

Speak in words instead of initials...pretty please with a Dole Whip/Mickey bar/sweet treat of your choice on top!!
I'm sure it's uh-larious for everyone in the know, but some of us (namely moi) have a hard enough time keeping up with regular posts, much less the ones in code.
Pretty, pretty please.
ZZUB said:Horsegirl: when you're done with my copy of Ann Coulter's book, can I have it back? Ashclan said she wanted to borrow it. She's got my Sean Hannity book which Sheridac is waiting for and actually, HaleyB is waiting for it as well. Y'know, for a bunch of right wing ideologues, y'all should have your own reading library. Sheesh.

I hope that it is OK to be here because I am really new and just learning.

I picked up an excellent read on a whim the other day.
Was in the bookshore purchasing yet another in the series of Judy Bloom "Fudge" books - (my kids love them), when at the counter I discovered a book sitting there.
I hate it when they do that, because I'm a shameless impulse buyer!
Anyhoo, it's called: German Boy, A Child in War, by Walfgang W. E. Samual
It's all about his experiences in WW2 Germany in 1945. Very interesting read.
On a lighter note: Southerner's: I got my June edition of "Southern Living" in the mail yesterdayI'm gonna sit out on my chase, sipping Mint Jewlips and read that mag cover to cover this afternoon, y'all
But no head cheese as a snack......lala........{{{{{{{{SLAP}}}}}}}}}}
