Bemeber, I can show you the post, and I declared moi winner.

BIG WOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOTY TO MARITA!!!

Good luck with your packing and have a WONDERFUL trip.

Kimmie - What a scare. Piper must have been frightened out of her wits. Glad she is OK :sunny:

Thank you Grammy - I appreciate it.

Kimmie ~ OMG that would have scared the carp out of me.

But it puts in mind a story of my youth: I am the 2nd of 3 sisters. And I have a lot of cousins. Anyway. One fine summer day, after all of us had watched Mary Poppins, my aunt brought my cousin (a boy) to visit. As Mom and Aunt discussed the topic of the day downstairs, they left us, the kids (then aged approximately 6, 5, 3, and 2) to our own devices upstairs, playing.

Needless to say, when they had a period of silence for more than 4 minutes they became concerned and went to investigate. In the room (2nd story), with the window open, they found my little sister and I (we were the 3 and 2 above) SITTING ON THE LEDGE with umbrellas in our sweet little hands. Our older sibling and cousin were apparently unsure about whether we could handle the flying, because they put life jackets on us just in case.

Mom still gets a few new grey hairs everytime she thinks about it.

So glad to hear that all the kiddos are okay. Poor little Piper, it must have frightened her as well.

Yes, in toe pointing.

Did you say you had the best legs too???

Frick declared my legs the winner and the most tan! :teeth: if memory serves correctly.

Kimmie! What a story! Poor lil Piper and you! Glad it worked out okay.

Amy, :grouphug: :grouphug: again.

Thank you Selby and Minnie MOO!!!!!!!!

Hope you feel better Shelby!

Thanks you guys. Yes, colorist please!!

Actually I need one anyway. Hair must be attended to. Before something happens in less than 3 weeks. :) I am thinking going back to my warmer tones. DH likes the blond highlights but I think they're just not ME.

And, I finally figure out that everybody's playing at the riddle, and you all leave when I show up? Humph. Hmph. Harrumph. ((how does that go again, MarkyMark?)) I am trying to make a woo hooty happen, people.

Ok I stopped by to see if the scary clowns were gone yet. (No offense Lou- clowns terrified me as a kid.... so did Spiderman... and men with beards- I think it was the hidden face thing. I can now handle Spidey and bearded men. Clowns are still a little freaky)
And I read the Piper & The Window Story.
And now I feel a little sick to my stomach.
Because that is really scary.

Marita- you so deserve a Whohooty and a Donald Duck statue. I can't whohooty any louder 'cause the more I think about the empty room and the open window the ickier I feel.

Twinkie, I know. I KNOW!!! I felt icky all day. But now my little sweetie (and co!) are all safely soundly snuggled in beds. Piper has her Raggedy Ann doll that my stepmom made for her clutched in her arms, full on hug. Her little blond head is resting on her pink pillowcase, and there's a quiet little smile on her face. The cat is nestled in next to both of them.

All is well.

((except for my gray hair))

And Kitty -- that story is hilarious (for a split second) but mostly horrifying. I knew the second you said "Mary Poppins" what it was going to be. Ish.

Kim! I had missed Kitty's story! Amy! :rotfl2:

Kim. You are the meanest mother. How dare you not keep your children in their room with life jackets and umbrella in case they knock the AC out! :teeth:

You got me!!! Ironically it was the umbrella opened in the house that kept her from fitting out the window!

Not really.

She told me "I was just so STARTLED that I got away from the window really fast."

What 5 yr old uses the word "startled"? I ask you.

This is just a slight refresher, since another meet is about to happen.

And cause just once I want to be right :rotfl: :rotfl:

This is just before Sheri and I had the operation that seperated us into 2 perfect peeps instead of 1 with 4 legs.

And I almost had to PM you to get my passwords :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Plus you won most likely to demonstrate an appliance at a trade show
