You won't believe this. John Imo is a good friend of mine. Our kids go to the same school and we play volleyball on Friday nights together.

You've GOT to be kidding me. My sister drove all the way to Kansas City a couple of weekends ago to pick me up some. That's a 6-hour drive, total. And you can get it anytime you want from the man himself! I'm eternally jealous. Wow. Speechless. Well, not so much. But hungry now.

I am now DED. In lieu of flowers please send Mac n Cheese...or a Dairy Queen Banana Split Blizzard (minus the chocolate). DH just whooped my butt...45 minutes of weight training and a mile on the treadmill. Exercise sucks! The whole time on the treadmill I was watching a WDW Food TV program and fast-forwarding to all the food items...I watched the Beaches n Cream segment twice!!!!! The diet goes out the window in January...I'm gonna EAT!

Okay. I have been busy busy busy in court today. And then I came here and found nine or ten pages to catch up on.

I missed a tag fairy fest on the riddle, which I couldn't do b/c of court,

and our 11,000 woohooty wasn't, as not a single person has commented on it.

Brandt and BVD are bonding, Horsey and BVD are squabling (sp), Frickles has bling.

And now it is time for me to go pick up the kids.

and I haven't even had time to think about TOOT or looking at the TR board.



I feel so left out.

Okay, folks, I'm going home. I just had some disturbing news. A very popular radio announcer from New Orleans, 70 years old. Had his wife shot. In the face.

They were going through a divorce. Who thinks about divorce at 70, much less killing your wife? Why bother?

His name is Vince Marinello. You can see the story on NOLA.com. You can also see how puffered up my city still is. ONE YEAR LATER.

Off to get wine and fresh the makeup for the guest.

Oh. I made my boss VERY happy today. Raise time will be decided soon! And this was a BIG feather in my cap.
