Reading, seeing and hearing Part 2

So we had a celabratory lunch at work today for a great budget review session yesterday. Went to Portobello Yacht Club for lunch, where one of our staff works on weekends, mostly to see her husband, whom she hardly gets to see otherwise. Lunch was to be on the Mouse, but the manager picked up the whole tab except for the tip!

After that, we went to the Attic at the BW, which is a really cool place, like a big living room at the end of the longa-walka hallway on the DVC side, by the Atlantic Dance Club, complete with kitchen and a big terrace and played a rousing game of 80's trivial persuit!! Now mind you, of the staff of 10, I am the oldest, boss is mid-to late 30's, one is maybe early 30's and the rest are 20 something.

I concluded I was not in the country in the 80's, as I did not get ONE SINGLE QUESTION!

Boss won by a landslide, we even combined teams to combat him!

You forgot to mention how you got locked for posting a pre-trip too early. Too early for them, not too early for us. (assume I mad some smarty pants comment here about the powers that be).

I think you really got two trips out of that mishap. Since the above events were part of what led to the forming of the Malestromers, and thus the meet.

quite true in fact, well actually just moved not locked...

as for the Oct trip, something about my DH and the words Free Dining had a lot to do with that too! LOL

Yes, my pre-trippy got sucked into the particular maelstrom of modding that happened at that time.. oh well. I have a new one forming in my brain that's really more about my DH, maybe I'll actually attempt another one??? Have to giv eit some more thought.

Trying a new roast this morning - A gift from a Brazalian friend. Rich and Dark. It is to die for. Probably a little strong for some of you, but I believe this could be my all time favorite ever. No dollops of anything. Just in a pure unalultered state. Using my red,white and blue USA mug.

I am baking a coconut cream pie this morning. Do I need to make an extra for the bake sale??????

For you spice people. Last night I was at my mom's and she has a collection of old spice containers. Her neighbor had found one cleaning out her Aunt's house. My Mom was real happy with it. It was Mace. I did the silent shake but decided not to share why with said Mother. She already thinks I am nuts.
