If you haven't tried the Chateau St. Michelle....go get it.....you will love it!![]()
Actually, fm's choice of Chateau St. Michelle is a good one, as they have won international acclaim for many of their wines. A winery winning an award in NY is akin to little Billy running in the kids' 100-yard fun run at the local 5K and getting a ribbon like every other kid who ran. There is a reason NY isn't considered the hub of the wine world. . .just sayin'.sheridac said:Actually, Miss Donna, I speak of Paumanok Vineyards. Their Riesling, if I remember correctly (I may have had a little drinkage by then) is some kind of award winner.

Lesson # 1 - Do Not DIS before church on Sunday morning! LOL
Just checking in everyone. I haven't been able to be around much lately. As you know we had VBS last week And I spent the rest of my week with the family who's father was dying. He died Saturday morning aroun 5:15 and the funeral is tomorrow (Monday) in the morning.
I went to the spice shop to try and catch up but no one was around. Oh well. Probably a good thing.
I miss 'seeing' everyone. Maybe things will calm down a bit soon and I'll get back to more regular posting.
Everybody have a SUPER Week!
Blessings!

javamom said:Well DH and I went to see Pirates at the balcony seating section of one of our local theatres.
We stopped in at the lounge before they were seating and, in honor of the show's theme, we each ordered a Captain Morgan and Coke.
After we were seated, we clicked the little red button and the waitress came and took our order. We ordered the same thing (as we often do, I think he just trusts my judgement on these things) Chick Fry Sandwiches. I ordered a Bloody Mary spicy, just the way I like it. It had been a long time since I had one. It was great, I sucked it down in no time flat and then drank water for the rest of the show. Our food came during the show and it was great.
We liked this! I think we shall become theatre snobs now, and insist upon full service. We laughed when I informed him that after our trip to WDW, that I would turn him into a resort snob too! Anyway, you push a button and whatever you want is brought to you. I looked around, most of the erm.. other guests around me had ordered pitchers of beer and popcorn - which I felt like was just a gas attack waiting to happen for them, but to each his own I suppose.
DH enjoyed the movie, it was great fun and he was suprised about the ending! I did a great job of not telling him anything.
I finally got to see the pivotal moments that I had missed last week when I had to take DS to the bathroom at the most "inoportune moment", savvy?
So it was big night for us! We got to cuddle in the cuddle seats at the movie, some good sandwiches, and a fun movie!
(prooved it during Narnia)
