Reading, seeing and hearing Part 2

Busy day. Pool party from 4-7. Big fun. Hot hot hot. Over 100 by a good bit. It was 101 when we left at 7pm!

Then we went to the Bookstore because we felt like we had way too much money in our bank account. Took care of that and now have around 10# of new books. Mr. Silly is like a kid in a candy shop in a book store. He only bought three new books, so he did show some self control.

The lovely airline changed the times, so now instead of having to get up at 4am to go back to US of A, I can actually get some sleep to be at airport 1 1/2 hours away at 11:30.

Last time my mom, my son and I just stayed up all night..... although that was fun too, we played some games. (Don't flame me, my son was 26 at the time...)

Good Morning 'Strommers !!!!


101 degrees today !!!! Try and stay cool.

We went to our friends country club yesterday and had a beautiful day. The swimming pool was gorgeous. Came back home and let the kids swim in our redneck pool. (It's one of those little blowup ones)

Off to the pool again today.



Sher... I think it's gonna be Verizon. Sorry I couldn't speak to you yesterday. I was getting ready to feed my kids and the neighborhood kids as well. PLUS, I had my neighbor over. He's sort of like Wilson from Home Improvement. That's who he reminds me of, anyway. He always has a truckload of info. Some of it is actually helpful.

I'm watching Discovery land as I type this. Beautiful. Picture perfect landing. I would actually love to see something like that in person. It's probably awesome. Has anyone ever done that???
