So I started working at 9am this morning from my couch, no dressing, no makeup, no commute, life is good!!
A few phone calls, a few issues, nothing too major.
Took a little break at lunchtime (without eating lunch), and then all heck broke lose. No need for details, wouldn't mean anything to any of you, but spent half the afternoon on the phone, the other ferreting out issues, the rest putting stuff on my to do list for tomorrow (from the couch, no way am I driving in). At least I avoided driving in the rain.

Off to have some dinner and a nap. I NEED A NAP NOW!

Tink, I was thinking the same thing about Sher's post. Spices, or wine, or both, me thinks. Actually, I'm assuming it's all related to convos elsewhere with her new toy, Mr. Dog. So I just figured it must make sense to him, and left it at that.

Going to catch up on some TRs, now that I've turned the page...

Not napping, just comatose. I think it's the wine re: Sher. That or her stylist is putting some nasty stuff in her hair. Her remarks DO make sense to me, at least the mermaid outfit one. The rest?

Too much sun for me today, my eyes hurt now. Spent the afternoon at my sisters country club pool. Let her husband buy my lunch (and he was not even there, lol, I just tell them his last name and they bring me whatever I want, kinda cool). They let people do all sorts of stuff there that we never get to do at our neighborhood pool. Like get smashed. Or use pool toys. Or have a water balloon fight. We might go back tomorrow

Now that I have your attention...

OMG, my hubby told me today that yesterday he was at the QuickTrip getting an iced tea when a drunk woman entered the store and threw a brick at the service counter. The brick traveled over the counter and hit him smack on his balding head.


She fled the scene immediately; however, the incident was recorded on tape, including her face, car, and license plate.

She is facing 20 counts of assault, one for each person present at the time of the incident, plus one count of battery against my hubby.

He was in the wrong place at the wrong time, I am just glad it was just a brick and not a firearm.

She was presumably upset about either the new pay-before-you-pump policy (well actually not-so new really), or the price of gas - they aren't sure which.



ok so in other news... ARRRRGHH matey, we be off to see Pirates of Carribean Dead Man's Chest!
