Yahoo! Pity Party tonight for the losers who are not meeting or WDWing (is that a word?!)

AND, Chris...yeah for Horsey! I wish my phone battery wasn't dead. I'd call her! Glad she made it safely. :)

Off to eat my lunch and read some TRs.......

Hey Joe - are you impressed? I didn't even do anything. i had resigned myself to the fact that we weren't going. Then Wesley says this morning, "I wish I could be in Disney World." Rhonda grinned, and I picked up the phone! I love it when a plan comes together! The Secret Weapon always works - even when I don't have to encourage it!

Blessings & Have a Disney Day - Marita - we got a good AP rate at the Yacht Club - maybe we'll see you!

MarkyMArk

I never doubted you Mark, even when Rhonda said last night that you were having DirectTV installed Saturday morning :thumbsup2

I suspect that Wesley is going to be even more of a hottie magnet than usual with that cast :teeth:

I leave at 7 am. TOMORROW MORNING!!!!

I'm driving.

Which means.

I'll be there by 8 am. :teeth: TOMORROW MORNING!!!!!

How does Smith read? I've been thinking about picking up some of his stuff.

Smith is brilliant, he reads well but not always easily. Beyond the Post Modern Mind is an excellent and thoughtful book. However it tends to give me insomnia, as most thoughtful books do. I was reading him the other night, which is why I asked you about the word "postmodern" ;)

His introduction to religous studies text book, The Religions of Man is also fantastic. There is a great TV interview series with Bill Moyers too.

Here is a transcript of an interesting interview he did for Mother Jones.

Marky, wild horses couldn't drag me from my couch this weekend, from where I will be Dis'ing and joining the pity party for all us left here.

See you in October though

OK, what is this??!!!!

Vikings don't whine.

Pout.

Or throw pity parties.

Even when several of their number are having the time of their lives!

So what, they have brownies?

And Sher's short skirt?

And about a googleplex of wine and other assorted beverages?

And no kids in the house?

And Grammy's gray dorito?

Okay, so it's agreed they are going to have revelry and laughter beyond all comprehension. But let's not get all sad ...

Everybody (or, as Ash put it, all us losers) bring your funniest funny to this board. Tonight. That's an order. ish.

Okay, I will play. But I will do it now instead of tonight.

Following is a conversation that was between myself, la(c)to and my then 4 yr old son Nicholas as he sits between us on the couch watching a video.

Me-"Nick stop poking me there. You don't need to be doing that. Those are my privates." (****s)

Nick-Giggle-"Those aren't privates!"

La(c)to-"Yes son they are. Mommy has two privates."

Nick-eyes the size of saucers-"How do you pee out of those things!"

Here, here, Kimmie!

I will be having wine (not WHINE) at the pity party tonight. Does that explain things to you? ;)

What Tink said! My wine is at the ready (even drinking some now!)

And seeing that's Tink's condition was greatly exaggerated, she can have some too!!!

Drebert, Very funny story!!!!!!!!!! :rotfl:

:thumbsup2 Drebert!!!!! That's the spirit!!

That one is :lmao: :lmao: .

Tink, that's the spirit too! I'll be having beer, as I think we're out of wine. Or I could mix up some cocktails, too.

I'll bring the Doritoes! :rotfl:

I'm bringing Sabra Hummus with pine nuts and Nabisco Wheatsworth crackers

Okay, I have not fully reviewed, but . . .
Wesley broke his arm? And I can't even send Rhonda and Mark my sympathies b/c by now they are partying at the Yacht Club?

I'm invited to a Wine Party tonight so as not to whine or pity? But no one told me the TIME . . . (j/k, I'll come when I can)

Drebert (Lacto's wife) has super extraordinary abilities in her, ummmm, upper privates?

SOMEONE was unable to insult a certain religious group?

Mel is being scarce (I'm not throwing stones at that particular charge, my glass house would shatter.)

Grammy placed my return in an all-important edit that I have not yet had time to find?

I DIDN'T get a call from Horsey this morning (of course, I WAS in Court, which she knew, if she remembered, so that explains that . . .)

I missed PMM the other night, elsewhere?

Tink is NOT in the family way?

Jami is AWOL until Wednesday. (What'd she do, decide to take off for parts northeast?)

PongoJen and Ash both posted pictures that I also haven't found?

Sher has an adorable new pup with gender identity crisis?

Okay, my mind is still spinning from all of that. I'll try to sort it out and come back later. Tater. Mater.

Drebert, I am the least health concious person on earth! I recommended those things for flavor!!! Not that there is anything wrong with pizza or popcorn (as long as it's not microwave, yuck!), and I'll go with ice cream any day, chocolate with hot fudge and LOTS of whipped cream, please.

What's wrong with microwave popcorn?

You can still bring the Hummus! I like variety!

Off to fix supper. Fettucine Alfredo. With Blackened chicken. And garlic bread.

Nope. Nothing healthy there either! :teeth:
