Yeah I'm not condemning them for having a storm and unexpected downtime. It happens, and happens frequently with this ride. It's an amazing experience and a huge draw for HS.
But with COVID, no fastpasses, no park hopping in place, etc. they have little to no tools at their disposal to try to help us "try again" when it does open up.
It's very defeating for people when this happens. I think back to all the early mornings, all the planning, reading, and research, all the money, all the hold times, all the frustrating hoops I had to jump through to get to this point, and to just have them say, "sorry, have a nice rest of your day" is deflating to the extreme.
I'm not saying they "owe" us/me anything, just wish they could help us figure out ways to give it another go somehow.
