Been reading every post from this and the first thread. Can feels everyone’s excitement when they get their BG. we leave in 9 days (yay single digit dance ) and have one day at DHS on the 16th.
will continue to monitor the daily results and hope the force will be with us

My family arrived 6:25am got through turnstiles at 6:48am today. No bags. (They had walked over from YC.)

Question about entering with dining reservations...I was just able to get a Cantina reservation for 7:05 am (park opens at 7:00). Do they let early dining people walk into the park earlier, or will we need to wait with the massive crowd on Hollywood Blvd until 7:00? If they do let dining people enter early, is there one side or the other we should head for?

Does anyone have experience trying to get a bus to another park right after getting a BG? For example, are they running the bus from DHS to DAK as early as 7 or 7:30 AM? Or to get to DAK would you have to get an Uber/Lyft or walk to the Boardwalk or Swan or Dolphin bus stop?

If we got a higher BG that wouldn’t be called until after noon we might want to go somewhere else for a while.

We left YC at around 6 and got to HS around 6:20 am. Easy through security but the line was considerably past the ticket booth. Moved pretty easy. Forgive me as I can’t remember when we entered the tap style. Hoping for a good group without issues

Edited to add: we got BG 36. We feel so blessed. We tried on 4 iPhone 11s all 4 on LTE (AT&T) because the WiFi was unstable. The join boarding group option never opened up for two of us.

5am: woke up
5:43: left AKL and the three of us drove to HS.
5:56: parked
6:05: through security and in line. No-bag line was much longer than bag lines. Got into a bag line that was empty.
6:09: announcement and started moving. Kept to the right...was moving visibly faster than other portions of the mob.
6:19: scanned in. Finger scan required. Walked to Echo Lake and grabbed a seat.
7:00: Queue opened. BG 10! Verizon LTE.
7:30: BGs 9-13 called.
7:35: in line.
7:45: ride down. Argh!
7:50: CMs begin distributing water, chips, and bananas to those if us in line during the breakdown.
8:10: ride back online!
8:27: deboarded. On to AK for our Avatar FP!
1pm: back at AKL for nap after riding Avatar FoP, Everest, and KS. 6:25 ADR for Oga’s tonight!

• On line For the park at 6:30.
• Through the tapstiles at 6:41. No fingerprint.
• Boarding Group 34!

Walked from Boardwalk at 6:20am. No bag check and entered park around 6:40am. Was by arch to Animation courtyard and started hearing lots of people cheering behind us. Group 104. Groups gone by 7:01.

Crazy.

Yeah I didn't expect that. I told them they probably had 20 minutes to get one.

I got 119 at 7:01!

We did a Lyft from Saratoga at 6:10. Arrived around 6:35. Bag check went quickly. We were through the taps by 6:50 (no finger print) Boarding Group 40.
As of 7:20 no groups had been called.
We did hear one group say that they didn’t get a boarding group. Not sure if that was a primary boarding group or not a group at all.

We did do a finger print scan. It’s so strange they do it for some but not others on the same day.

ETA: oops. I guess they weren’t using the fingerprint my family tells me. I used mine but I guess I didn’t have to. Disney has me trained, lol.
