Reactions To Evil Queen Shirt...

I was THRILLED when I saw the villians store open. I spent WAY too much on a hockey style nightgown with Ursula embroidered on the front that says "Diva." I love it though, so it's ok. Now here's an interesting question. When I went with my family in 2002 my dad couldn't wait to get to the villian store because he loves Gaston. We were surprised that there was NO Gaston merchandise anywhere! Does anyone know why or where I can find any?

i'm surprised there are no Gaston souvenirs. I believe I've only seen him within a larger a group of villains. Can't wait to go to that store. They had a pajama short set with the evil queen on there that i really loved, and i believe it discreetly had "wicked" embroided in the short corner. I wonder if they still have it.

This shirt (Wicked Queen) would be perfect with me. Since my last name rhymes with queen, I always tell my students that I am Mrs. Breen the queen. My sixth graders would howl if I got that shirt. Since I only have 21 days to go, I'm definitely putting it on my shopping list. Thanks for the great posts.

Love that Villian merchandise.

What's funny is that when we took our DD to WDW when she was 4, she loved the princesses.

This last time she was 17 and we were hunting down the villians!

That's pretty funny! I did wonder how many guys would be purchasing that shirt! Actually I have met a few "wicked queens" in my life that weren't female!
In case there is any question, I am definitely a woman.

As I sit here, reading my favorite boards, I am under the watchful eye of Maleficent. Everyone thought I was 'certifiable' when I carted this doll home!! She is still in her box on my shelf where I can see her whenever I want. Bought the 'anger management' shirt too. Now, that's one of my favorite shirts. It really says it all. Glad to know I'm not alone in my love of the villains.

When we were at MK in March, the shop outside of the Pirates had a great villains t-shirt. It has almost every villain on it that you could think of, including Gaston. On the back, it just has a small logo that says Disney Villains. I wore it to my daughter's dance class one day, and there was one 2 year old who couldn't stay far enough away from me!!

I had 2 people stop me at MK to read it or show it to someone with them. You could see other people stop and look it over very carefully. A little bit confusing to me at first until I figured out what they were doing!
A few days after the trip I was at Walmart and little kids were waving at me. After the 3rd or 4th one I remembered what shirt I was wearing!

I have that exact shirt and throw it into rotation with my LSU game gear. I get many comments on it, its a great shirt!

I think its different...I personally love the princesses, but hate the "little girl-ness" of the merchandise. I bought a great v-neck shirt with the original Sleeping Beauty poster (a 50s looking Aurora asleep with a rose) on the front of it @ World of Disney in downtown dis and have rec'd LOTS of compliments on it!

I know that shirt, I've had my eye on it! It's very cool. I'm not a big buyer of Disney clothing because so much of it is really square looking; wish there was more stuff like the your Sleeping Beaty T or the Evil Queen T. (There's another cool one-- also sleeveless v-neck-- covered in old fashioned Mickey comics.) I really wanted to get dh a "Grumpy" T on our last trip but couldn't find anything cool and simple-- really, to me the perfect Grumpy T-shirt would just have a picture of him, with nothing else, no words. That would pretty much say it all. But all the merchandise I found was too busy- quotes, words, "Grumpy University", etc.

Sorry to go off on a tangent, I just wish Disney would offer some cooler character-wear. More retro looks!

Speaking of retro looks, I think Disney needs to come back out with the old fashioned Mickey ringer tee! I loved mine back in the 80s.
