Re-use magic bands for additional trips?

Mom and I had magic bands September of last year, my sister has one from May this year. We are all going back in November- does Disney send new bands or are the old ones reusable?

To put it simply, both. If you're staying on site they will send you new ones, but you can still use your old ones as well.

They're not linked to one specific band. They're linked to MDE and either band will work regardless.

all the bands work alike......there is no difference. The are just a link to your info....nothing is actually stored on them.
I order different colors and change them to go with what I am wearing.

I haven't used the bands yet, so take this for what it's worth, but my understanding is that it doesn't matter which bands you use.
As long as both are linked to your MDE account, you can use either band at either time. So order your new set in a different color and then you can just decide what to wear based on your outfit for the day.

Yeah, I've got four different bands at home, and I could take them all with me and change them out each day and it wouldn't matter. Coordinate them with outfits! lol
