? Re:mashed sweet potatoes

I bought mashed sweet potatoes from Costco. It only has microwave instructions. Can I bake it in the oven from the instructions I have on homemade sweet potatoes? I'm just not in the mood to make it from scratch this year.

I have no knowledge of this thing "mashed sweet potatoes". I only get subjected to candied yams.

But my old timey kitchen skills say you can reheat just about anything in the oven in a covered baking dish at 350 for 30 minutes. Think early 80s before everyone had microwaves. But I know nothing.

If you are only reheating already cooked potatoes, you'd do it for less cooking time than you would for something that needs to cook through from a raw state. Adjust your baking time accordingly. Also, if the potatoes are frozen right now, they will take longer than if they were in the refrigerator aisle.

From Frozen: Heat for 35-40 minutes, stir, re-cover and heat for an additional 10-15 minutes. From Refrigerated: Heat for 20-25 minutes, stir, re-cover and heat for an additional 5-10 minutes. MiCrowave oven: Remove cardboard sleeve and pull up corner of plastic film to vent.

EDIT: I searched for mashed sweet potatoes, this is for the regular mashed potatoes. Sorry!

SECOND EDIT: Don't put the plastic container in the oven, it's microwave safe but not for use in a regular oven.
