has anyone heard any info on the finding nemo ride and its opening? are there soft openings going on now or just for passholders? thanks.

I'm not sure there is a Finding Nemo ride? Hey I learn stuff all the time on here though. I thought there were "clam mobiles" that take you under the aquarium in the Seas pavillion at Epcot and there will be a Finding Nemo musical that replaces Tarzan Rocks! in Animal Kingdom opening in "Fall 2006".

Cast Member preview is Thursday, Oct 12... DVC member preview is Oct 13-15. Seems to me I saw an email with dates for AP's but I can't find it now.

If nobody else posts Thursday night, I will...

AP holders and DVC members are the same time. Each can take 3 guests on the ride. We will be there on Sunday the 15th. After that, we'll have to wait and see if soft opennings are offered. No real word on the openning, but did read a post/rumor that it would be by Oct. 31.

I was just at WDW a couple weeks ago. While going through the security bag check the security guard said that the Nemo ride was suppose to have a soft opening that day (9/30), but there were way too many technical difficulties. We were bummed.

I think they are renaming The Living Seas - The Seas With Nemo and Friends. I also read that in addition to the "Clammobiles" the ride through portion will be totally Nemo centered, as they will project Nemo and his buddies traveling through the aquariums on a journey. Then, once off of the ride through, guests can visit the interactive "Bruce" area, or participate in "Turtle Talk With Crush" in the tiny interactive theatre.

The only non-Nemo part left will be the actual "living" marine life. But I hear that they are all well aware of Nemo too! ;)

The nemo characters will be a part of the clammobiles in the Living Seas. I'm sure thats whats being referred to here.

EPCOT at the living seas.

Thank you, we have friends and family there right now, and we wanted to make sure they did not miss this since they are DVC and AP holders.

thanks again,
