Two soda/coffee - holics at Swan for 6 park days with some pool time. Questions - does Swan offer re-fillables, for how much, where does one get re-fills, how convienent is the re-fill station to the pool area? We've been to S/D numerous times but never considered this, but my son and his GF are along this time and this might work for them.

Thanks,

Hey Bill, fellow coffee addict and Swan stayer here-- we'll be there in June and I'd love to know the answer to this too, although I have a sneaking suspicion the answer is "no." Let's cross our fingers! :)

I know picabu at the Dolphin has a refillable mug program, $11.95 for the mug and free refills but I don't know if it can be refilled at the poolbar or anywhere at the Swan. If your at the main pool you won't be to far away from picabu but it may not be worth the $$ if there isn't anywhere to fill it at the Swan.

When I've stayed at the Swan, the only place to refill the mugs was at Picabu (formerly Tubbi's). I personally wanted one with Disney characters on it so I went over to the Boardwalk Bakery for a mug and refilled it there or at the Spoodles pizza window the rest of our trip. It was probably a longer walk than most people want to travel for their AM caffeine, but it made for a nice quiet walk along the Boardwalk before the crowds.

We spent 9/23-9/3/07 at BC Villas. Mr and I bought 2 of the $11.99 mugs. We where told at the Hurricane Hanna's (Stormalong pool snack bar) that the mug was good at all resorts - (since they all look the same evidently)

We returned with our two mugs intact and looking new, in the hopes we'd know someone who could return to a resort and use them. They are White with blue lids and the "dreams" theme is decorating them.

Any other news from you recent visitors?

The swan and dolphin are not disney hotels, so the same mug from the BC, would not be good there. (your post kind of lended itself that way, although I'm not sure if your referring the previous post about getting a boardwalk mug) The last time we were at the swan and dolphin, their mugs had pics of the swan and dolphin on them.

The swan and dolphin are on disney property, and have some of the perks, early entry, disney busses, but i don't think you will be able to use BC mug their.

We seemed to goto picabu (tubbies) to get breakfast, sometimes to get meal, for my husband its a good plan to get the mug, for me not. So, if you get resort breakfast everyday, it still good be a good investment. Otherwise its not too long of a walk over there.
