I voted for #2.

I let my oldest dye the eggs alone while my younger DD was at daycare. I felt a little quilty about it, but if my 2yr old was there I would have more grey hair by the time it was over.

My 7yr old did really well. I can't say it was totally stress free, but she did alright. :thumbsup2

We just finished dying our eggs and had all sorts of fun. StitchfansJr- Allison was a good sport and let me decorate her face with the remainding stickers that weren't used too. :rotfl2: DD 25- Debbie came over to dye eggs with us too.

My 3 boys and 3 friends dyed 60 eggs and it was mostly stress free! Its so much easier when they are older. There ages are 11,10,10,8,8,6. We did it outside on the patio and only one cup of dye spilled. Success! It was fun and interesting to watch the different styles.

We didn't dye any. I found chocolate eggs covered in a white candy shell that you can paint with sugar paint. So we did that instead. We hid decorated plastic eggs for Mo and plastic sports ball eggs for E.

We're dying our "Spring Eggs" tomorrow. We don't celebrate Easter, but I love dying eggs with my DD :).

We broke the Paas tradition this year and bought a Star Wars egg kit. It's really cool! We had fun!

This is the first year that I didn't do it by myself, but had DS, who is 4, help. It was stress free and we had a great time. And he managed to only crack one egg. :rotfl2:

We "sponged" some eggs, which turned out to make some really pretty eggs, even when done by a 4 year old. And we did the dying on his little plastic table in the living room which has tile floor, so cleanup was not much of a problem at all.

My son is 19 and a freshman in college. He has been home this week for his Easter break and last night we dyed eggs, as is our custom. It just isn't Easter unless he and I dye some eggs (Dad is an observer - LOL).

I hope the tradition continues when he is married and has children. Hopefully, he will invite us over to join in.

It's great family time and I love the fact that at age 19 he still wants to do it. He's a good boy!

That's so nice. This was the first year oldest DS(23) wasn't here, and I really missed having him with DS10 and I.
