Re-considering getting a fast pass for FEA

Ok, I am starting to rethink the FEA fast pass. My family loves TT and Soarin. We have two kids ages 20 and 12. (ya we spaced them out:rolleyes:) Anyway, I am thinking that our two girls, and especially my husband would appreciate a possible two rides on TT first thing in the morning and then a fast past on Soarin.

Now, we do like Frozen, well me and my girls, but I'm not sure they would want to go that route with our Epcot day. I mean, we could ride it next time when we have a longer trip and two Epcot days. I don't know. Should I re-consider this plan?

Is there a reason you have not asked your girls? Is it a surprise? I suppose it depends on how much they love Frozen. Soarin's wait times have been less than before due to the third screen opening. Have you considered getting there at rope drop? Then you could do TT without a FP if you do it first thing, or go through the single rider line.

We will be getting there around 9 am, maybe a few minutes after. Single rider for TT is an option, but we want to be able to ride at least once all together. I just know that TT and Soarin are more action like rides, and they like those better.

If you get there around 9am, that's too late for any of the rope drop rides. When I've arrived around that time (2 trips now ugh), I have faced about a 20 min wait at Test Track. Epcot opens about 15-20 mins early.

Another option is skipping Illuminations and getting on Frozen at the end of the day. I have very successfully done this on 7DMT a few times now.

I think your plan of doing TT at RD and having a fp for Soarin is a good one. That is exactly what my family did last time and is planning again on the next trip. FEA isn't a priority for us so if the line is 30 minutes or less at some point, we will catch it. If not, no biggie. My kids would be much more upset to miss TT or Soarin than FEA. You'll have to decide what's best for your family.

In the same boat (pun not intended). Wanted to fp FEA and do Soarin and TT at rd. Asked the kids and they'd rather not chance missing one of the other 2 due to FEA (Xmas week) so we'll probably save it for a future trip.

Seems like FEA is lower priority and if I were you, I would skip FP it. For me, mine are 6 and 4 and it's a must do. However, the only FP available was for 8:15pm on Sunday 11/13 (last day of F+W festival), so I grabbed it. My family however, got FP for Soarin' at 12:15pm. I am debating swapping the FP out to join the Soarin' crew, but really don't want to wait more than 45 minutes for FEA. I could go back another night, but no other FP avail for FEA either. Thoughts?

We didn't make FP reservations for FEA, it just didn't work with our day. Turned out fine, cause my kids (who are 3 and 5) really loved TT and Soarin. They do like Frozen, but leaving it out of our schedule really gave us more flexibility for other things. We never ended up riding it, which was fine with me! We'll get it another time.

I have swapped our Epcot day from Saturday to a Wednesday, hoping for a less crowded day. Maybe that might help my gameplan.
