I have only flown direct flights since the days of online check-in started. I am flying NWA from Indy to Memphis and then changing planes in Memphis to Orlando. Will I need a second boarding pass in Memphis? If so, can I print it out from home before I go? If not, then what's the procedure? TIA!

When you print boarding passes for your outbound flight from NWA's website, there will be two for each passenger, one for each flight.

You are confusing direct flights with non-stop flights, which are two different things. The flight you are on is a direct flight.

If she is changing planes in Memphis, it's not a direct flight. A direct flight would be where the plane stops and continues with the same flight #. In that case you would have only one boarding pass. If you change planes with a different flight #, you need 2 boarding passes.

I think the OP meant she has flown non-stop in the past.

You are right; I did mean non-stop. I am changing planes (and flight numbers) in Memphis so this is not a direct flight. Hence, the question.

As bicker said, when you check-in online and print your boarding passes, you will print one for the flight to Memphis and another for the flight to Orlando.

You are correct, missed the plane change.
