re: boat rentals at resorts

I have a question regarding the sea racer/water mice boat rentals at the resorts. I noticed it is only 10.00 more for an hour rental than a 1/2 hour rental. Can a family rent it for one hour and switch drivers half way through? Or do they only rent it to one licensed driver at a time, making us pay two separate 1/2 hour fees ? Reason I ask is that i would love to drive with my 8 yr old daughter, then trade off with my husband and our 6 yr old. We have two babies as well, so we cant rent boats at the same time anyway, so if we can share the cheaper fee by the hour and just switch half way through, that is great. Don't know if anyone has done this, but would love any help. Thanks!

Having rented boats in several places at WDW, i doubt that would be a prob. Maybe tell the Cm that puts you in the boat what you are doing. Also, you can rent a bigger boat that you all could go on, not as much fun but everyone goes. We like doing that at DD and going up the river to PO.
