can anyone tell me which of the RCI Vegas resorts are right on the strip, if any? Also, where can I find out what "color" the week is that I am interested in going. Thinking about June. Thanks for any help:)

I've been to Vegas a few times and, to be honest, I can't think of any timeshares "right" on the strip.

Now, some may be a couple blocks off.

Good luck in your search.

Trickier question than you might think. "The Strip" is a portion of Las Vegas Blvd that is defined by tradition.

There's "Hilton Grand Vacation Club on the Las Vegas Strip" - that's the actual name of the place. It's legitimately "on the strip". But on the far North end of the strip a bit of a hike from the main tourist areas.

There are also a couple timeshares on LV Blvd that every now and then get audacious enough to claim to be "on the strip" even though they are miles South of what anyone would ever claim to be the strip.

The two best locations of the available timeshares are just a bit off the strip, but still close to all the actual. I'd recommend Hilton at the Flamingo first, Desert Rose second.

See also this thread http://disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2214555 for additional info.

Note that there are a couple other timeshares that are in the good part of the strip, but we don't have access to them.

RCI has 23 separate listings for LV, DVC lists only 8. Of those several are out of town. The Hilton's are the class of the field. Unfortunately they don't currently list the new Bluegreen resort there though i suspect they will in a year or 2. Several are somewhat out of town including the two that are under Daily Management group (Grandview and Peace Canyon). Don't count out the Marriott as one can often get it through San Francisco Exchange from what I'm told. We're staying this late summer at Summer Bay for a week, it's a couple of blocks off the strip and has just been built new after selling the old location to one of the casinos. One can often get good rentals for LV as well.
