RCCI + Universal Studios package?

Has anyone booked a RCCI + Universal combo package? We're looking to travel next Spring and plan to do both (Universal first). We'll stay at RPR at Universal and will be on the Oasis of the Seas 7 night Eastern Caribbean itinerary out of Port Canaveral. Are the rates better if you book a package? Could we apply any future discounts that may come out or would we be exempt under a package?

I still know of no one who has done the package combo. We just do the combo on our own.
