Rates Different With PIN!

Called to see if by any chance I had a PIN as I am not planning to go to WDW till 2013, but thought MAYBE, if I got a good offer we could swing it this year. Anyway I was told I had a 30% PIN that was good thru Dec of this year, which must be booked by 2/22. I had priced out a room at POR for 5 of us and it came to$1561, with 30% off down to $1092.70. The price I was quoted was$1301.75, which she said was off $1700 something. I asked if the room had to be upgraded for the offer, she said no, that was just what was coming up on her screen. She said she couldn't explain it. Any answers?

i would be willing to guess that she was perhaps looking at a differnt room view then you

I would think another room view or do you have more then two adults in your party?

Did you include tax? Did the CM include trip insurance? Were they the same room category?

If the base price was higher, then it must be a different room view as everyone else has said. did the Cm tell you that the 30% was for ALL resort categories?

After reading your posts I called back and another CM was able to clarify it better. Yes, the standard room apparently do not qualify for this promotion, snd I,m assuming tax accounts for the rest of the difference. Thanks for the help!

So, are you going to use the 30% off PIN and go to POR? Inquiring minds want to know. When I booked last week with the free QSDP PIN I got, I wanted POFQ but it was unavailable entirely. I ended up booking a more expensive room at POR because it was the only mod and room category available with the PIN for our dates other than a pirate room at CBR. Still a great savings for us though.
