Rate my lunch

Froggy, sign me up-that looks good. I'll forgive the presentation because it's chili! Cheese would be a bonus, as would tortilla chips. A good cerveza, too. However, it IS chili- 9.5! :thumbsup2

As for my dinner:
ec833d96.jpg

It's Beef with almond pesto, stroganoff noodles (a/k/a 'noodly stuff' in this house), spinach w/feta and sundried tomatoes and corn. The wine is a spanish one the new wine shop next to my store suggested. Dessert will be in a few moments-we're headed to Carvel.

Lunch was not posted, as we'd had brunch at Cracker Barrel today. Around 3, we popped a bag of boy scout's kettle corn and it was GOOD!

I'm giving you an 8. While your presentation is artistic and well balanced, the wine glass is on the wrong side and your steak knife is pointing the wrong way.

The chili looks good, extra points for being generous with the cheese. I'm deducting 3 points for the lack of ice in the glass, no bendy straw and lack of dessert. I give it a 7

19 broken teeth still in mouth from after hte wreck,, and no insurance, so i havent had much ice since 2003.

and desert is a couple of snack size payday bars.

and uhh poohnatic, theres almost a 1/2 cup of cheese on top of hte chili,,lol...and crackers instead of tortilla chips again due to broken teeth,,lol

I was tempted to take a pic of our dinner tonight ... striploin steak (cooked by DH), rice (cooked by DH) & tossed salad with Ranch dressing (prepared by me) and red wine ....... but DH already thinks I am mad for spending so much time here, I dare not start taking photos of food too! :rotfl: Ya wanna get me committed??? :rotfl:

-2 for what looks like a broken plate behind the pot, (I could be wrong, but that's what it looks like)

-5 for the stuff in the basket to the right. Looks like sharp implements and it's kind of scary

4 for the chili

9 for the abundance of crackers

total score= 6 oh wait, no dessert- deduct two points for a total of 4

Good effort!! :thumbsup2

I'll have to knock you down a bit for the spinach - on my short list of will not eat EVER. Corn and noodles would be too much for me but I know it's NOT about me :rotfl: . The presentation is lovely although your knife s/b turned the other way. The wine is a big +. I'll give you a 9.5 :teeth:

I can't rate your meal because it looks like your wine glass is ready to topple over, and it's making me nervous.

lol, the basket is home to my kitchen scissors, my meat thermometor, can opener, and the "white balls" are actually fresh cloves of garlic, this makes cantw8's next score automatic ZERO for not recognizing a kitchen essential.

the broken plate, is actually an oriental square candy dish

This is a tough crowd and I'm skeerid to post a picture! :rotfl2:

Froggy's chili gets a 9.5. Deducting half a point for lack of dessert item. Or will that be posted later? :teeth:

Pooh's beef gets a 2 point deduction because I really don't like beef. Another 2 point deduction because it's a little too fancy for me. But there's 2 bonus points for the wine. That's an 8.0. I'm assuming there will be dessert pictures later. ;)

Here is the leftovers. BTW that's a standard size box of kleenex next to it to give you an idea how big this sucker is! Sure was good!

Hows this? Lean pocket, pepperoni and cheese, and chips and pretzels. :) Gatorade to drink.

EF1- I would need to be really drunk to eat this meal. You get 1 point for the pretzels.

Throw in a snickers bar and I'll give you a 10! :rotfl:

OK, LISTEN UP, LADIES....

I have had enough of this lolly gagging this weekend. I want you all to get a good nights sleep and have your game face on tomorrow. LiteBrite, this message is not for you as I am still in awe of the Crocs presentation.

Luvflorida....for the sake of "Rate My Lunch" I hope you are back up to par tomorrow. And please tell Henry that I hope he will make a cameo in tomorrow's photograph!

I have been gone all day and come home to find this thread in total disarray. Let's get back to the real reason we are all here...to look at other people's food and pick it to pieces. I hope tomorrow is a better day. :teeth:

I'm sure it's yummy but serious lack of anything green and some chocolate :teeth: is going to cost you. The presentation is lacky something. It's like you just tossed it all on a plate - something I might do ;) . I'm gonna have to give you a 5.

But it's both nutritious and delicious! It says so on the microwavable wrapper!
