Rate my lunch

Ya want presentation?? Here ya go. I added leftover steak from last night's dinner at Steak & Ale and mini chocolate donuts for dessert

Well. Gross.

I'll give you a score of 3.0. One point each for the chocolate doughnuts. I actually had apple cider doughnuts for dinner so I'm o.k. with the doughnuts.

When will we be visiting you for your bypass surgery, BTW?

I enjoyed the story! Petey is a cutie, and I would have been laughing at his antics, too!

Well, you've managed the impossible. That actually looks worse that just the potato . I think we need another rule - dessert cannot be on the same plate as the meal. That is just wrong on so many levels .

I will give you 4 points for putting yourself out there.

Oh, I didn't do the brownies - DH and DD finished off the ice cream and I got to lick the serving spoon.

One last thing, if you want your child to go to bed 1 1/2 hours early all on their own take them for a 5 mile bike ride .

Yeah, you had me puzzled over that last comment, but I let it slide.

I chalked it up to a "like mother, like daughter" moment. My DD and I had a couple of those yesterday when I went to visit her. I sent her this thread yesterday, so if she shows up here you'll know why.

The chili looks good, extra points for being generous with the cheese. I'm deducting 3 points for the lack of ice in the glass, no bendy straw and lack of dessert. I give it a 7

Looks great! You get a 9. Lost half a point for no Diet Sprite and another half because the chili is too spicy. I don't have to taste it...too spicy for me.

Froggy, sign me up-that looks good. I'll forgive the presentation because it's chili! Cheese would be a bonus, as would tortilla chips. A good cerveza, too. However, it IS chili- 9.5!

As for my dinner:

It's Beef with almond pesto, stroganoff noodles (a/k/a 'noodly stuff' in this house), spinach w/feta and sundried tomatoes and corn. The wine is a spanish one the new wine shop next to my store suggested. Dessert will be in a few moments-we're headed to Carvel.

Lunch was not posted, as we'd had brunch at Cracker Barrel today. Around 3, we popped a bag of boy scout's kettle corn and it was GOOD!

The chili looks really good. The lack of a nicely folded napkin will cost you, as well as the placement of the crackers on the plate (was there no thought given to that ?), the beverage with no ice or straw will also knock you down a bit, and no dessert . For your 1st effort I'll give you a 7 .
