I had my haunted ride open yesterday most of the day, and many DISers came by. Many thanks to them all. A special thank you to FilamentTheBright for personing the room while I did my credit run and chased after a child or two. He also sent others in bearing gifts to me because 1) he knew I had had a truly awful week and 2), I couldn't get out of the room to do a host event. I know others pitch hit and watched the room for me, too, and I didn't even know it, so thanks to them as well. Finally thanks to all who posted or sent me a PM here, or a message on VMK, or a virtual hug for our family's loss. It is appreciated.

I just wanted to post a really big thank you to DaraAllan. I know I did not need to do this and nor did she expect a public thank you. Yesterday in my PM was a code and the words Happy Halloween. I was so excited that someone sent me one. Someone I did not know very well but took the time to think of me. It was just so special.

Well she knew I was looking for one of these. I had tried to trade but did not get one. I posted it along time ago on what do you wish for along will a zillion other people. It was so special that she saw I wanted one and found one for me. I felt so special yesterday. I never expected to ever get one.

It is not the gift but the act of giving. It is easy to give your friends something, but extra special to give some one you do not know very well a wonderful gift. I hope to get to know you better. You have a very kind heart.

Not many people know, but I had a Quest Kiosk bug strike me AFTER finding
out about it on the main board. Sure enough, I loaded the kiosk too much
in storing items, not knowing I could add 20 items per line.

So due to my own stupidity trying to lighten my inventory, I managed to
wipe out half of my pin collection. I told some friends (and Zetas)
about what happened, and last night, they managed to get my pin collection
back to having at least one of every pin obtainable in VMK by normal
means. Some people offered me pins that others have already replaced for
me, so they also rock in their generosity, too. Sure, my multiples are gone,
but I will hope to replace those again someday, too.
