I love this thread.

Why? Because people with a higher post count need to be mroe respected? People need to be treated equally.
Ok people, I'm not trying to make this a debate..I'm just curious.I'm also not trying to pick a fight.
I just remembed something else. Maybe it's just me, but where ever I go it always seems like this is a huge popularity contest. One person *Who I shall not mention* is a new DIS'er. I have no problem with new DIS'ers, but they seem more popularer than me. Maybe I'm just obsessed with being popular. It seems like people are always in cliques, and sometimes I don't fit anywhere.
When I first joined, I felt pretty little on here. There were people that I looked up to because they literally had 3,000+ posts. I thought I'd never fit in, because a lot of them seemed pretty "close." I didn't realize until about 3 days ago that I have almost the same amout of posts as these people I looked up to.
I think at first, it seems like this place is like high school; a popularity contest, and you need to establish yourself. On the DIS, it seems like you'll never fit in, but as you post more, you get to learn about other posters more, and then they become online friends.
Its kind of like popularity, but more like trying to establish yourself.
The only things that really get me fired up is when they insult me, my property, my religion, and my opinions on abortion and stem cells.I despise it when people ask for opinions or suggestions and shoot down what you say.

GAHHHHHHHHHH!
my friend.
she was going out with this guy who loved her and she "loved" him back.
but my friend and i think she pushed him to fast and he got scared so he backed off and ended the relationship for the time being. he still loved her.
Now my friend, who was supposedly in love, is liking this guy she met 2/3 days ago and it's barely been a week since they've broken up.
yea.
i hope everything turns out ok.
i hate drama.

After some hard thinking, yes it hurt, I found that a few things bother me...
One being the people who use "ain't" all the time. I swear that some people do it because it drives me insane.
When people say, "Won't you ever grow up?" I want to hold on to being a child as long as I can, thank you.
When people get mad at me for being sarcastic. We all have to be known for something, why not being notorius for being sarcastic?
PE class in general. I despise it. I'm not an atletic person, nor do I give a care over who wins the Super Bowl. The best part is the commercials anyway.
People who can't pronouce my last name. It is pronounced the way it is spelled. It's not that hard.
Waiters at restaurants who ask me if I want crayons.
When some people tell me that I should give up on my dreams. So what if I wanna be on American Idol?
Hmm, I guess a lot of things bother me.
One other thing I forgot to mention. If there is one thing I hate more than anything, it's when someone leads you on to believe something when your hopes have no shot at all, and they know it. I speak through personal experience, it's one of the worst things people can do to you. It's so fake, I hate it.
